Amazing DING for MHT!

That's great.

I'm unable to load this onto my computer at work - restrictions.

My friend has it though. Do you have to book the Ding through this link?

I loaded it at home, but that does not do me much good being at work all day.

I saw that!! I am absolutely SICK about the fact that we cannot take advantage of this!! But great for you who can! Have fun!...........P

I am not a ding expert, but I am 99% sure you have to book through the downloaded program. Fortunately, they could care less what we do at work, so I have ding downloaded there.

Maybe your friend could book for you if this is something you definately want?

DH & I have been planning cutting down on all unnecessary spending starting Sept. 1st. There goes that theory! Well, if I pay for the plane tix & room in the next week... ;)

Hi! I just saw this unbelievable rate on SW!! But I already have my tickets booked for November. Is there anyway to change my existing reservation over to the Ding fare? I really do not want to cancel and end up with a lot of ticketless travel funds because I don't know when I would use them again.

if you go on Southwest's website they have the fares for $45 each way for October so it doesn't look like you need to have Ding to book these prices. I've tried to load Ding twice on my system and can't get it to work so I wanted to thank you for letting me know about these great prices. I just rebooked my October reservation and saved $200!!!! To change your reservation to the new price when you go to the southwest website at the top click on Travel Center. In this window there is a button for Change Air Reservations. Click on that and put in your current info it will ask what you would like to change and then bring up all the flights and prices for your selected date. Just click on the NEW cheaper airfare and southwest gives you a credit for the difference in the old and new fair. I believe the credit is good for one year from when you originally booked your old reservation.

The Ding price, however, was $39 one way. Every little bit counts!! :) I ended up calling Southwest and they cancelled my original reservation. I then had to go onto Ding and rebook the same flights but with the cheaper price using the ticketless travel funds from my cancelled reservation. It was a little bit nerve-wracking as I had to wait about 5 minutes for my ticketless funds to appear in my account. All is well now. :) Thank you OP! I now have credits to use for a future trip, but even if I don't use them, I really haven't lost anything...

It took every bit of restraint I had to keep from booking that rate. :crazy2:

Wow...I can't believe I missed that one!!! Darn!

threeboysmom: When in November are you going? We ran into each other last year in September (remember the parking garage..LOL!) and it would be too weird if we were going the same weekend in November this year! We are supposed to be there Nov. 3-7 at the VWL.

Sammy

I was really glad when that Ding fare expired but I just looked and the same time frame is $49 each way. It is only $18 more. I feel my restraint weakening.
