Jose came by this morning to quote me on a full detail on my 32' Winnebago Adventurer. He's going to wash, compound and wax the entire unit including the awnings and the roof. He seems like a great gut and I'm so excited to see the results. I'll let you know how beautiful it turns out,

I was hoping he would detail it over the phone, that would have saved me a bunch of money. :) Just kidding Larry

I love all the contacts I've gotten off this board, you guys are great.

Good for You.:thumbsup2 Wish I was there as I would join you but be warned...Put your suit of armor on and be prepared to hear from the antidetailyourrv@disney gang. They usually go ****ing nutz over this.:scared1:

Let me help. Those pressure washers are annoying. :surfweb:

It's too frikken hot to sit outside and listen to the constant drone of the pressure washer. Our Tampa weatherman summed it up nicely yesterday when he said our current weather equates to "living in a crockpot"!

Todd - Just make sure you pull in your slides before they start to pressure wash. I'm just sayin..... pressure washing and open slides do not make good partners. Don't ask me how I know this. Also - be prepared to get blasted as BigKahuna warned. I, for one, greatly dislike hearing a pressure washer running when I'm trying to relax at Disney - but I'm not at Disney right now & I can't hear it from my house. It's good!

As a newbie I have no idea what I'm waiting for---but I'll be watching...

:3dglasses

:headache:

Some campers feel a need to have this done. Other's feel it's disruptive to their camping experience, as the companies performing this service go from one rig to the next. The constant drone of power washing doesn't make for a happy camper.
To each his own. :rolleyes1

I've asked a number of RVing friends about how they feel regarding a pressure washer being used to clean the RV next to them and they all agree that it would be extremely disruptive and inconsiderate to others who are just wanting a nice quiet site in which to relax.

A 91 year old who began his RVing days in a new GMC Motorhome back in '76 when he could stay at Bahia Honda for $6.00/night, said that if his neighbor did that he would have brought out his rifle and quiet things down in a hurry.:scared1: I believe he would have.

Jose charged me four hundred to wash the entire coach including the roof and awnings, compound entire coach and wax entire coach. He did a great job, dare I say amazing. I don't know if he was disruptive or not because I was at the parks all day.

By the way 1400 loop is so empty I don't think anyone would even know he was here.

Heck, I hate it when the DH pressure washes the house or the MH!! $400?? Seriously?? I can whip my DH, make him do it, and spend another week at the Fort for $400!!! Priorities, Todd. Priorities!!

I still like your "Piss Larry Off", idea. Therefore, I forgive you for disturbing the peace at FtW! Heck, I might drive over and bring you some beer for coming up with that! :cool1:

I get paid on Friday, I will chip in for beer money.:thumbsup2

Considering that Disney started cutting a huge pine tree down across the road from me at 8 oclock in the morning yesterday I felt I was in good company.

I dropped my camper off for a rental in the 400 loop today and saw amazing driving around. I'm not too keen on the pressure washers either. Like Todd said, he was away at the parks. There are companies who make quiet mufflers. If only Jose and his army of dazzling, amazing and whatever other name that makes detailing sound groovy would find the number.

You want to talk about disturbing the Disney site cleaners and the road sweeper start sometimes before 8am and after EMH and getting back to the site around 4am and going to bed around 6am that hurts. I never heard any pressure washes before 10am.

I hear ya, I've been woken up every day by chain saws, stump grinders or leaf blowers. Never by a pressure washer.
