Amazing Detail

You want to talk about disturbing the Disney site cleaners and the road sweeper start sometimes before 8am and after EMH and getting back to the site around 4am and going to bed around 6am that hurts. I never heard any pressure washes before 10am.

I hear ya, I've been woken up every day by chain saws, stump grinders or leaf blowers. Never by a pressure washer.

True but you pay for those Fort sounds :thumbsup2 There just like the boat horns.

I dropped my camper off for a rental in the 400 loop today and saw amazing driving around. I'm not too keen on the pressure washers either. Like Todd said, he was away at the parks. There are companies who make quiet mufflers. If only Jose and his army of dazzling, amazing and whatever other name that makes detailing sound groovy would find the number.

He don't need no stinking mufflers.

Elbow grease, :thumbsup2, the Old Fashioned Way.

Quiet and Green!

I'm thinking of having them power wash the personal items we'll hang on a line between the trees next time we get to the Fort!

JK, but sometimes you just gotta swing for the fences when the pitch is right down the middle.....

The sound of pressure washing engines in the morning, the smell of waxing and compound solutions, the beautiful sight of wax on, wax off just makes me tingle all over. Wish I was there!:thumbsup2

I'm sorry, but we were in loop 400 in October, and let me tell you DH was none too happy that the cleaning crew guys from across the loop were parked on OUR site!!!!! That is SO rude! I mean the sites aren't that big as it is and when you have unwelcomed "company" parked at the end of your drive... that IMO shouldn't even BE at Fort Wilderness to begin with, that is just wrong! Our 3 kids on their bikes had to constantly be on the lookout from these guys "trolling" our loop looking for more business!!! Just not right!

Disney should really put an end to this solicitation! Aren't there No Solicitation policies posted somewhere????

That would have been the perfect time to "work" a deal with them on doing your rig since they were already there! :thumbsup2

Do you think they could pressure wash the screamin kids running through my campsite? Just sayin...

It's not the kids that need pressure washing, It's the parents...... You REALLY did not think you were going to Disney and not hear screaming kids did you? I never expected to go to a Disney campground and be next to a car wash.

After a day at the parks in the heat, those lime green thongs need some serious cleaning.

Really, other peoples kids are actually allowed in your campsite at Disney? I was a little concerned for their safety, with may cooking stuff out and all. They were under 5 yrs. old. I am curious if I am liable if they get hurt. I don't assume control over their screaming, it just added to the fact that they were in my campsite, or I thought it was mine.

Rule of good conduct at any campground is to respect other people's space, and that goes for the Fort. You may occasionally have a kid cut through your campsite to get where they want to go, but this is a rare event. The only exception to this rule is Site 617. There is a paved path right next to the site that leads from the main road to the movie area. The grill is right next to the path. I call it the "snag-a-burger" site. :rotfl2: And no, if someone gets hurt on your site you are not liable... unless the injury is caused by traps you set to keep the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 from encroaching upon your space.

What part of my post made you think other peoples kids are allowed on your site. I simply stated that it is the parents of the kids who deserve to have the pressure washing not kids under 5 years old.
