So many of my friends complain about their college professors but I think I have found the most amazing college professor in existence

My professor teaches 2 of the same classes. She brings in treats for whichever class gets the better average on her tests. Well, or class won on the first test and she knows that I am allergic to eggs and peanuts so she kept promsing that she would make sure she brought something in for me because she didn't think it was fair for the rest of the class to get something and I couldn't have anything. I kept insisting that it wasn't a big deal and that it would cause her too much frustration to find something and that she would realize very quickly that it wasn't worth it. I was right...she didn't find anything.

So come the second test, our class won again. This time she kept asking me what I eat and where I get it from etc. I wouldn't tell her because what I usually eat is expensive. So, she took it upon herself and she found DIVVIES!!!! for anyone who does not know what divvies are, they are nut, egg and dairy free cookies which are awesome. So she ordered a box of chocolate chip cookies that she brought to class along with the other treats. She has a lot of them left so she now has a stash of the cookies along with caramel popcorn and jellybeans from divvies for the next time she brings in treats.

What professor does this?!?!? She is sooooo amazing. She is also that professor who everyone thinks is really cool and loves to talk to and hang out with (and who also happens to have a couple of stalkerish students...lol)

That is really sweet of your professor. I grew up with a chocolate allergy and only recently did I discover that I am no longer allergic. While I absolutely NEVER expected people to cater to my allergy, I can't tell you how appreciative I was when someone remembered. There were quite a few friends and co-workers along the way who would provide something I could eat when they served something chocolate for dessert or for a party. My DD has a good friend with a severe peanut allergy and we always make sure that the cake for her birthday parties are from the one local bakery that sells nut-safe cakes. And I don't make a big deal of it, I just quietly tell her mom where it came from so she knows it's safe.
