Could this be you and Susan and I walking in September??? I wanted to give you the weekend to really think about what the committment to do the Lewis & Clark half would mean. It's not just the race, you know, but all the training leading up to it. Are you sure your schedule will allow for the training? I want you to have a good experience and I promise I WILL NOT LEAVE YOUR SIDE during the race! If you're sure you want to do it and Brian's OK with it, just say the word and I'll register. How cool that it is on your birthday!! What a great way to celebrate!I hope your family get-together went well yesterday. Best wishes for a smooth, hassle-free Monday
Amanda!
Susan had done this half before and she said that the terrain is really easy and very flat. So that is good news! It is extremely relaxed so I probably won't push myself to keep that 15 minute pace - but I will get the training in! I am so excited!
My plan is to get home around 7ish - eat a quick dinner and then go for a walk (I'm back in training after all).

Doe, Brian and I are also very excited!
)is having realistic expectations about what can and can't be accomplished and then being flexible enough to change direction without the old "beat yourself up" thing. I think your choice to postpone things at Curves is wise and healthy, and that's what we're all trying to do, right? Be wise and healthy!
and a gentle

. Are you getting excited???
I've been researching the South Beach Diet and I think I am going to try that after the cruise. I like that you can start to add in good carbs in phase 2. It keeps variety in what I am eating - and I am all for variety!
