Amanda, you had 2 days of earning all your beautiful smilies!! I see you were having a bit of trouble yesterday afternoon.....did you make it?? Did you earn all 4 smilies again yesterday??? The suspense is killing me!! I HOPE you made it!!

Either way, today is a new day and we're both going to earn our smilies, right???? I'm trying for all 6 of mine today - haven't earned them all in ages! We can make it together - strength in numbers, ya know! ::yes::

We're almost to the weekend - hang in there!! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
 

I had a nice cry at work again yesterday :sad1: Everything went fine until the last hour and then :sad1: I went into a downward spiral - I did manage to go to Curves and workout and that did help. Got to love those endorphins. But I was so emotinally exhausted that I was not in the mood to cook. DH ordered pizza and I had a lot of it. I forgot to take my vitamins at lunch :rolleyes: So I only earned :) :) yesterday for water and exercise.

I'm not going to beat myself up over this, and instead focus on what I can do today to correct the wrong.

Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: Remember to take them! :blush:
Exercise: Rest Day :)
Food:
b: skipping it - I'm not really in the mood to eat at the moment.
l: Chef Salad
s: String Cheese
d: Chicken Ceasar Salad
s: Sugar free pudding pop

Is not wanting to eat a sign of depression? Because this morning I just feel like a wet rag in my chair.

Yesterday was another bad day. They just seem to be piling on don't they? I really did great until after dinner. For dinner we went to this great resturant and I had the dinner salad, Baked Cod w/lemon butter cream sauce, and steamed broccoli. I had 2 glasses of white wine with dinner. After dinner everyone wanted to go out for ice cream so I had a small hot fudge sundae. So was I perfect - no? Was it the worse I have done? Nope. In the mean time we had a relaxing evening with 2 other couples, sat out on the patio of the resturant and then went over to one of their houses and sat out on the patio. I did get in a little walk from the resturant to my friends house - probably .25 of a mile. Perfect way to forget what happened at work. I ended up getting :) :) for exercise (rest day) and vitamins. I didn't do a good job of keeping track of my water but it wasn't great. And I'm giving my self half a :) for food.

Today I'm starting strong. For one my manager and my team lead are out of the office today :banana: Secondly I am feeling much more centered this morning then I have in the last 2 weeks. That all being said - here is my plan for today:

B: 3 egg omelet with ham, greenpeppers, and mushrooms
L: Salad, w/santa fe chicken strips and yellow peppers.
S: String Cheese
D: ???
Exercise: Curves
Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: at lunch

You've certainly been having a tough time at work Amanda. :hug: After this wonderful long weekend, it will be tough to gear up for tomorrow, but we can do it together, right? :cool1: :cool1:

I hope you got lots of rest and relaxation in this weekend, although knowing you and Brian, you probably had a schedule that was jam-packed with "stuff" to do. :p Make sure you schedule some down time in for the evenings this week, OK?

Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by. I had a great weekend full of relaxation. We actually kept our weekend pretty schedule free so that we could just lay around and do nothing. I love doing nothing!

I did however slack big time on my healthy eating and it is evident in my clothes today. I'm sure most of this is just water and with concentrating on that today I'm sure by tomorrow I'll feel good.

I have a BUSY week ahead of me and I really have no idea if I will make it into Curves at all this week :(

Plan for today:
Water - 8 glasses
Vitamins - at dinner
Menu:
b: 6 fresh strawberries, and string cheese
l: Salad
s: ?
d: ? - I'm behind in my menu planning.
Exercise: ??

I have a Dr.'s appt at 5pm which means I won't get home until 6pm/6:30pm - depending on how I feel I may stop at Curves or I may just go home and make something quick to eat.

Morning. I wish that I could say I am feeling strong today, but that would be an out and out lie. I'm feeling weak and unsteady. I didn't get to Curves last night, and I also did not eat a healthy dinner. I did earn :) for my water though.

I am going to work a 10 to 12 hour day today so exercise is out of the question.
Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: sitting on my desk at work.
Menu:
b: low fat plain yogurt
l: Chicken Salad
s: String Cheese
d: Probably a salad from Panera Bread
s: Fudgesicle.

I probaby won't make it to journals today - I'm not very peppy and want to keep it segregated to my own journal :(

Amanda -- I am sorry you are feeling a little "BLAH" today. I hope the day takes a turn for the better for you. Sounds like a long work day -- be sure to take a break at meal time, away from your desk, to recharge. And don't worry -- tomorrow is another day.

My blue flue is getting better, it is more of a sky blue now ;)

Yesterday was a good day, not great but good. I only did 4/8 glasses of water, took my vitamins :), no exercise, and I was fine with food until dinner where I kept my bun on my cheeseburger.

Usually on Thursday we need go out to dinner with friends but we are going to skip it tonight. I need to get to Curves and workout. I tried on 3 pairs of pants yesterday that I love and while they "fit" they are not comfortable - so I moved them to the front of my closet where I will have to look at them everyday and I'm hoping to be inspired.

Todays plan:
Water - 8 glasses
Vitamins:
Exercise: Curves - 3 times around the circuit
Food:
b: eggs and sausage, diet Pepsi
l: Salad w/Chicken Strips and 8 oz. of skim milk
s: String Cheese
d: Seasoned Chicken Breast, steamed broccoli, and small salad.
s: fudgesicle.

Good plan for today!! Take back your time and do what you need to do! ::yes:: I think you'll feel so much better after a good Curves workout.
