*Amanda & Milton's June 18 2012 Wishes Wedding TR Started Update 8/10

Dress fitting # 1 (I've already had #2 yesterday but that was to make sure the hem was perfect before she finished it. We still have to do the bustle, and my dress will be ready for the big day!!

PLEASE IGNORE the weird face. What is it with us in our pre-wedding dress pictures that we all make some kind of ugly weird face?

Of course the lighting and everything is not very good either. My mother was taking the pictures and she still can't figure out my camera.

Enjoy!! I love it and can't wait to wear her in 2 months and a few days!!!!

The invites are beautiffuuull... but LOOK AT YOU IN YOUR DRESS! You're so pretty. I love the blue crinoline underneath and the touch of feathers. And the back!!! So sweet, yet so sexy too.

Here is my pirate costume that she custom made for me as well. She's a costume designer and a great friend of my moms so I really lucked out!!

I can't wait to wear it on our honeymoon cruise!!!

Love your dress Amanda!!! I cannot believe how perfect it fits with your feathers and etc!! Did it have the feathers on it when you found it?! I don't think I could think of a more perfect dress for you!

I LOVE your crinoline!! I asked my seamstress about a pink one and she said she doesnt normally recommend color because it will show through (clearly she is wrong- boo). She's hemming mine currently without it so now I can't add one but I'm certainly envious!!!

The pirate costume looks awesome!

Thank you!!! Yes I think the weird faces are from discussion of the dress among whatever else we were talking about, and possibly the overwhelming feeling... who knows... haha

Thank you, not I bought it at Alfred Angelo without the feathers. I had my steamstress add the feathers. They are sewn in under every one of my pickups/jewels. I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

Yes the crinny doesn't show through at all... There are so many layers to a wedding dress that by the time you get to the crinny you have 4-5 layers covering it to protect the color from showing through. Too bad you can't add any color to yours

63 Days until the wedding... And I have yet to mark enough off my list....

I've got the draft of my menus done, just need to print, cut, assemble and pack them.

My Matron of Honor is coming in Thursday. We are doing this:

Thursday: Chef De France dinner, walking around epcot

Friday: Tea Party @ GF 2:00 then hanging out probablyboardwalk or something fun that night.

Saturday: Hair Trial @6pm, then Bridal Shower at DTD Portobello starting at 11:00am. Then some more fun at night.

Sunday: Hollywood Studios

I can't wait! It's been many months in the planning and she's been working really hard at everything. I know it will be amazing and I'll have pictures to report next week!!!

Friday- April 20th- GF Tea Party

I don't have a ton of pictures right now... I'm waiting on more so once I get more I will post them, but I wanted to start anyways

We had a great time at the Tea Party. We have 2:20 reservations and were sat after everyone arrived. We had 10 people. The waitress there was very rude and snobby to us though. Other than that we had a fantastic time!! I really enjoyed the entire day.

Richard was there of course so we had a little fun with him... there are more pics but I'm waiting on them.

It was so fun being at the Grand that day knowing how close my wedding is getting.

I honestly can't believe we are only 49 days away!

I feel a little of this a little of this ok A LOT of both....

DF leaves on thursday morning for his 4 night bachelor cruise... I'm going to be home for 5 nights without him, I'm trying to prepare myself, because I'm not used to that at all. I just hope he comes back safe and unharmed. I think what makes it worse is that he will be at sea therefore I will not be able to talk to him from thursday afternoon until Monday morning when he returns. It's going to be a long weekend of trying to keep myself busy.
