Bridal Shower Location!!

We are having it at DTD Portobello on April 21st, 2012

Haven't decided on a menu, but they are allowing: outside decor, games to be played, etc.

Here's the area. This is to the right when you walk in in the middle. It's nice and big and we can move things around and make it how we want

We are also doing a bachelorette party April 20th, 2012, we are doing a tea party at GF (my MOH planned this out and booked it-shes amazing ) then we will go to one of the parks and have dinner with her, her husband, me and DF.

We will have about 8 people at the bach party as I don't have a lot of close girl friends so just a few people, small but fun group of girls, then we will have time together with our men afterwards. I can't wait!!! She doing the invites and when I get one I will post it

So jealous of you living so close to Disney, I wish I could have my bachelorette party down there. I want to so badly but I know nobody will travel. =[

Planning Session

Started out with the basic things about the timeline of the entire day... No cindy's carriage for us, it's just not something we can afford, and in June it's going to be too hot for it.

We did however decide on Mickey and Minnie!!! Mickey will be in his formal black tux and Minnie will be in the White Feather dress. I'm sooo excited about this!!

We picked our cake flavors. It will be three tiers, top tier will be almond with white chocolate filling, second will be red velvet with cream cheese and the bottom tier will be almond with white chocolate again. The cake was sooo good!!!

The session with Michelle was pretty easy and fast. And we made our way to the GF for the tasting!!

We decided on Crab cakes for the app, Garden salad with Balsamic and ranch dressing as a choice, the entree we are allowing our guest choose from any three of the choices we tried.

Can't wait!! Everything was soooo good!!!!

I've been working on the invites anytime I have free time, I bought the postage today so those will be going out sometime soon!!!

Thank you! I can't wait!! It's starting to feel a little more real, but I think when the Invites get out and the RSVP's start coming back it will feel more real!!

My aunt actually got my the bag in Kentucky she gave it to me a few months ago! I absolutly love it!

Thats good that u r staying within ur budget & is getting what u really want which is MINNIE IN HER WHITE FEATHERED DRESS! In my planning session they didnt even offered that style 4 me i think that color will go better with my white & turquoise blue theme.. did u request the dress in white & have 2 pay more 4 it?? i might have 2 call them back & change her colors That food sounds delicious

I'm back with two invites to post...

First my Bachelorette Tea Party Invites. We are doing a tea party with about 10-11 girls on Friday APril 20th. My Matron of honor put everything together and is soooo amazing...

She sent me this, invite and tea party set... Of course it's AMAZING!! It's just enough Minnie Mouse for me without being to kiddish.

She is sending out everyone an invite and a tea cup set with tea. They won't be poka dot like mine though, I got the special one

I will post those when I get a few from her.

She is now working on the Minnie Mouse themed Bridal Shower Invites... I can not wait to get that invite next!!!
