Amanda Knox found guilty.

I think the Italian courts are trying to save face. They messed up big time the first time around, but don't want to admit it.

I know. Personally, I believe she's innocent and should be left alone. Only she knows the truth. If she is indeed guilty, it will be on her conscience the rest of her life. Either way, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Although she acted unwisely after the fact and drew attention to herself in a negative way, that alone is not a crime. You simply cannot have THREE people commit a frenzied, bloody murder and only find DNA from ONE of them at the crime scene, while the DNA of the other TWO cannot be found.

It is impossible to selectively clean/wipe/rinse/wash away the DNA of two murderers while leaving plenty from the third murderer. How dense does a court have to be to fail to comprehend that?

Will the US extradite her?
I thought there was some discussion awhile back when this trial was announced that while she may not attend the trial, if found guilty, the US would ship her off.

Does anyone know?

This is just crazy these 2 innocent people were given 28 years and 25 years and the piece of garbage that actually committed the crime and was convicted of it, is eligible for parole in 2016.

Sickening.

Their justice system is a joke. The original prosecutor went to jail for lying on another case. He makes up stuff about satanic rituals, which is what he did with this case. He said it came to him in a dream :confused3. Are you kidding me??

I was so happy that the trial that aquitted her had enough sense to through out all the bad tainted evidence. This trial brought it back in.

I also feel bad for her ex-boyfriend. If I was him I would have left Italy. He is going to wind up back in jail at this point for at least another year until the next appeal.

I don't see our country extraditing Amanda for any reason, at least I hope not. I just wish this was over so she could get on with her life. I also would like to see this over so that Meridith can rest in peace and her family can put it to rest. I also don't understand how they believe the garbage the prosecution is saying.

That's the $64000 question. We have an extradition treaty with Italy but we also have double jeopardy laws, I'm not sure how they handle a case like this.

She sure acted guilty -- plus she made up a long litany of lies that even she could not keep track of. At the very least, she certainly knows what happened..

I agree. And so much was made of their behavior with the kissing in the video after the crime, as if they were gyrating against each other with their tongues down each other's throats, and all I saw was behavior to comfort each other.

I also agree.

I completely agree. Amanda Knox may be a lot of things but she isn't a murderer.

The evidence just isn't there.

Rudy Guede raped and killed Meredith Kercher. All the DNA evidence points to him and he has been tried and convicted.

She did not speak Italian. And we all know what happened Rudy Guede did it.

IF the US extradites her at all, I can't imagine they would do so until all her appeals are exhausted first. No sense in sending her back until that happens.

The U.S. may have a double jeopardy law, but isn't the point of extradition that we respect and abide by the laws of the other country?

I feel sorry for the Italian boyfriend. He should have left Italy. :(
