I'm glad you had such a fun trip, and got so much accomplished too!! I'm super happy for youuu! And I think I already said it before, but I'm totally throwing in my vote for the purple and green. I think blue and green don't have quite enough contrast to one another. Whereas, the purple would really pop next to the green!

Besides, purple is the best color ever! Lol!

I have no idea how on earth you'll choose, there are so many great options, it'll be hard to go wrong at least! Which of the colour schemes matches most closely with the venue decor? I think that cake with the tiny polka dots and hydrangeas between layers is a gorgeous cake, it has a really beautiful effect. It would work with either blue or purple hydrangeas too! It's great to hear how much your hubby-to-be enjoyed Disney, I will definately read your trip report Your teaser photo wearing the mouse ears was so cute

Ok if we are voting for what we all personally like the best I am voting for the blue and green BUT...I know you were LOVING the purple and green and it seems like you are leaning more towards that one so I vote you go with that one. I think it will make you happiest Most importantly go with whichever one you love.

I like them both!! Plus I showed Eric (without me in my dress) and he loved the blue and green...but to be honest, I don't think it would matter one way or another.

As far as the colors go, I may be bias because our main color is pool blue, with fushia and mango as accent colors. You could always do green, blue, and purple. But you have to go with what makes you happy, either would be lovely.

We just got back from Davids Bridal where my mom found her dress!!! It's discontinued so she bought it.

She bought this dress in Velvet Blue. She also bought extra chiffon to make a shrug.

While I was there I tried on 2 new dresses Lol then I tried on MY dress...and it was perfect!! I am really in love with it. PLUS we tried it with a very simple cathedral veil and I fell in love with it all over again!

We took some pics on my moms cell. I will try to post later or tomorrow

I did really love the purple and green but also like the green and blue... with your mom's dress being blue I would definately go with the green and blue! Your wedding is going to be just gorgeous! talk about tough decision ! i love blue/green combo.....BUT purple (amethyst) is my birthstone so im stuck on purple..hahaha...either way i really dont think you can go wrong..both combos are stunning !!!

She looked so good in it! We actually picked out a completely different dress and had just checked what colors it came in. She had her heart set on a Dessy dress. Then we decided to look around just ONCE more and found it. She loved it and didn't want to look any further!

That's kinda what I though too. I think the blue and green will look great with the WP and with the WHP.

Thank you! I really do love both combos. I was thinking about blue, green and purple (or pink) but not sure I really need a third color.

So here are some (really bad) pics of me in MY dress yesterday. My salesperson at DB was amazing (and patient). Everyone in the store said this was THE dress...and one of the salespeople said she had never seen anyone look like I do in the dress (what schmooozers!!! )

I wasn't going to...I was planning on a birdcage. But they put the long veil with my dress yesterday and it was perfect!! It totally made the dress just a bit more glamourous!! I loved it!

Does the veil cover the detail at the bottom? I would maybe try a fingertip because you have that beading at the bottom and you don't want a veil to cover it

No because it's only a 1 tier...it was extremely sheer. I love the look of it. The fingertip didn't have the same affect.

They also said they found a new way to bustle my dress that will still show off the back detail.

The pictures do it NO justice...my mom's cell phone camera sucks It was so pretty with the long veil!!! It had a little bit of swarovski crystal edging on it!! Now I need to find one...David's wanted $149 for it!!!

$149!!! That is crazy to me. I would think you could find one cheaper but in the wedding business they take you for all your worth. I should know lol I want to see it in person now though! Why didn't you just call me down there with my camera to get a decent picture...sheesh

Lol I would have!!! But it was 5:00 p.m and my mom had to be home by 5:30...I literally threw the dresses on. The first two were very pretty but once I tried MY dress on...it was no contest!! I didn't even want to try the veil on but once I did...it just completed the whole look.
