Am I wrong?

::yes:: They do have some nasty cole slaw...raggedy cabbage....loose mayo base..blech

I'm sure LJS would rather slip the OP a nice wedge of pie and keep her good will, rather than have her trash their establishment to her friends, familes, and DIS board buddies

I'm sorry you're confused. To recap:

No, the OP is not wrong, she definitely should have gotten a fresh meal. She should have gotten appropriate plasticware and napkins too.

I personally don't believe that the inconvenience of having to wait 5 min for a fresh meal warrants a free dessert and a free meal the next time you visit. I also disagree with people who believe that any slight inconvenience should bag them freebies, but I see that attitude more and more around here (although mostly in regard to Disney since this is a Disney board). If you're having trouble making the connection, there's not much more I can do for ya.

If the OP trained dolphins or penguins, I'm sure her fishy hands would come in handy.

I guess that's all I have to say about that.

free meal and free dessert?

Forget that..she needs stock in LJS........

I don't think I'll ever be going to LJS now. What if she hadn't seen the meal handed to the other guy. Yuck!

The OP didn't ask for freebies. But if she had gotten a little wedge of pie, she might be a happy camper and go back to LJS.

Sorry, but waiting an extra 5 minutes when you're on a limited lunch break because of someone else's mistake is pretty damn inconvenient.

I would not have accepted the food either, she was right on to ask for new food.

I'm just concerned workinggal now smells like fish.....can't be good in her line of work

Not wrong at all. I would have asked for a new order as well. LJS is always stingy with the tartar sauce and napkins around here.

And can someone please explain WHY everything turns into a debate around here????/

I've never heard of reserving food. You were right. Case closed by Judges DIS.

I'm home and clean now. No more fishy smell. My cat seemed happy to see me though. lol

You can all continue on with posting knowing that all is well with me. :D

I'm thinking that's NOT a bad thing! :crazy2:

I agree with monkeyboy and everyone else! She deserved at least a little something extra! That might make me go back to LJS (pretending that I would touch fish with a 10-foot pole, that is.)

And, Rutt and Tuke, good point! :scared:

No you were NOT wrong. Ew.
