Am I truly this rude?

So I was thinking about life....

This kid I know has had a crush on me for 3 years now.. or possibly longer.. Well we would talk on the phone.. and he would say you wanna go to the mall? i would always be busy.. then after i got a car he would always want me to come pick him up. . . and we were in the same group together that travelled to perform for music. .well i would drive he would always come with me. . and thenn we would go for lunch sometimes.. last year in the mornings after class he would walk me to my next class.
last month his girlfriend broke up with him. i talked to him a lot online for a while.. i think that she thinks i like him. i am just a friend of his. i can not believe that this is happening
what do you think of this whole thing? have I been his cheater? or is it just friends? Also during the time we would talk on the phone he had his girlfriend and she was his girlfriend for 3 years.. i fill so guilty.. but I do not know if I did anything..

now he won't talk to me so I am thinking that that is what happened.

that really doesnt have anything to do with being rude i don't think.
it's just a misunderstanding.
it's stupid that he's not talking to you. why isn't he talking to you anyway? i don't really understand.

anyways, somewhat of the same thing happened to me recently.
i best guy friend of mines' girlfriend broke up with him because she thought he had feelings for me.
whether that's true or not, they talked things out, he told her he didn't, he told me what happened, and everyone just kind of talked and reasoned it through.

She shouldn't end a 3 year relationship over suspicions! If they were truly in love she would give him a chance to explain that the two of you are just friends.
If he does have feelings for you though, or vice-versa that does somewhat change the scenario.

you aren't responsilbe for the break up though, so don't feel guilty, you didn't do anything wrong by just being friends.

the haha and the smiley make me think that you are enjoying this. im sorry to say this, and i hope you dont take it the wrong way, but it seems to me like you think this is a game, and youve been toying with him for the past three years. i feel sorry for his ex because even if this isnt the case, thats what it looks like. i wouldnt call it rude, its more a perverse enjoyment from the twisted emotions of others.

I mean like the previous poster said, if you are doing this because you think it's funny or something then yes it's really rude. Girls can be jealous and over-protective of their boyfriends, and she is probably threatened by your friendship, but from what I've read it seems like it's JUST that, friends, and nothing more. But if you are doing it on purpose or something like that then yes it's rude and spiteful.
