I am a addicted to FW, but I am getting to go with the wife to the Coronado. My cost $50 airlines ticket (AA Award miles) the $200 golf, $25 golf bag on AA??, $50 fishing supplies and $6 X ? for beers.

I think I may be in and out for less than $500 bucks, including trips to the park!!!! Does this make a bad person since I am not visiting FW?

Yes.
So if you feel guilty for taking this trip,,my wife and I will be happy to take it for you, :thumbsup2

No, we have stayed at CS and it was one of our most enjoyable vacations, I guess what you described (cost) means you can now take an extra trip to FW.

You may go as long as you realize, and admit out loud, that Fort Wilderness is still and always will be the best place to stay. We're waiting... :rolleyes1

Enjoy your trip!! It won't be the Fort, but CS is nice, too. :goodvibes

Whew I'm glad somebody else asked this question since we are doing exactly the same thing! When we return with the rugrats in 2011 it will definitely be back to the fort!

Rugrats,:rotfl2:,,now that thars funny, now my moma usta call me,uh ,never mind what she usta call me , we'll just say "curtain climber".

I hate to say it, but we stay in resorts (and :scared1: offsite) almost as much as we stay at the Fort. We save our longer trips for the Fort (a minimum of 5 nights), but being empty nesters with Annual Passes, we often will decide on Friday morning that we want a weekend at Disney. Rick will load the truck, I'll beg off work about 2pm and we drive straight through. We spend Saturday at the parks, about 3 hours on Sunday then drive back home. Not possible to do that with the camper.

I also watch Southwest Ding! fares religiously. If I can get a weekend fare of $59 each way or less, I book it and we're off. I've even got an Owner's Locker with a weekend worth of stuff for me and Rick so we don't have to bring any bags, just one little carryon with medical stuff that can't be left in the OL.

Based on MY inability to get dinner reservation within 90 days to other locations, the DW and I are going to the hoop de do review!! As I made the reservations, I looked over at her and said we could walk hand and hand through the camp site remembering all our family trips to FW!!!!!! It was about that time her gag reflex kicked in and she started to turn pale. Dude, I rock!!!!!

After many years of staying at FW, our son had a Disney wedding. Since it was to be a quick trip, we decided to stay in Port Orleans. We were miserable there! DH actually went over to the fort one afternoon ... had to get his fort fix!
