to hope that I could rent points first weekend of F&WF - 9/28 - for a studio in BWV? I'd even do a Friday and Saturday night (I only want 3 nights).

I guess that's what I really need to know - those of you who many have already checked have a better sense of availability. I've put my post in the R&T forum but fear there isn't anything left by now.

I do have a back up ressie just in case, but would rather be in the middle of everything.

BTW - I did get a PM from someone offering various weeks of reservations, ready to transfer to someone else's name. Is this 'legal'? Sounded a little shady to me to have practically the whole month of October reserved in chunks of 5 days at a time ready to sell.

Sounds like a commercial renter. Drop a line to the IRS if you want to make a buck off him/her.

But if you want to make that buck, don't drop the dime until June 30th of the following year.
