Am I totally losing it? Don't answer that!

I stayed at the Beach Club about 4 years ago. I just returned from a night at the Yacht Club and I walked through the Beach Club and I noticed that they re-surfaced the floors in there.

Wasn't there a dark carpet in there with large bright flowers on them? Please someone tell me this. I even asked a CM and they said no, the floor has always been granite (or whatever it is now). But I swear there was wall to wall carpeting in there.

Maybe I'm losing it too, but I dont believe there has ever been wall to wall carpet in the Beach Club....

I only remember the really shiney hard wood floors because I remember my little boys sandels clomping against it as he ran throught the lobby. Doesn't the carpet have shells on it?
