Am I the only

Oh I love flip flops. I am definetly a flip flop wearing mom. I must have twenty pair. The nice thing about them is they are cheap. $10.00 or less so you can have one in every color and style. We have very mild winters here. I must confess I wear them in the winter too. :teeth:

We're the flip flop family--
its the only shoes we wear in the summer.

Now wearing boots in the summer scares me-- :scared1:
Its like something is wrong in the universe.

I went to a party the other day--- it was like 80C and there was a kid wearing boots :faint:

I have big ugly feet. I don't paint my toenails, but sometimes I wear flip flops.
Half of my toenail is missing from kicking my husband's steel toe workboot while letting the dog out last week.
I wore flip yesterday to the video store. Maybe it's the way I walk, but you could hear me a mile away in flip flops. They slap loudly on my big ogre feet while I walk.

You are not alone. I also hate the flip flop "sound."

I hate the hard rubber thing between my toes. Guess I will have to look for some that are softer... DD LOVES them. She must have a zillion ;) That's about all she wears.

Im right there with you.. I started a similiar thread in the spring time when all those bare feet started showing up ewwwwww....
I really really do not like feet. I do not care how cute and manicured they are..I hate my feet, and surely do not want to look at anybody elses naked feet. I cant stand when my husband touches me with his bare feet. YUCK..socks on I dont mind, but do not touch me with bare feet please..

Ok, with one exception, my youngest is 22 months old, and her feet are still very cute :rotfl: I will kiss those little feet ;)

I agree Sunluver...........DD's feet are yummie!!

to those of you who dont like your toes exposed, have you found sandles for the summer?? I find myself wearing clog tennis shoes (sketchers). Any suggestions? :confused3

This reminds me of a recent mother-in-law story. I love my cheap Old Navy flip-flops, I wear them all summer. My MIL noticed them the other day and said "You know, Paul Harvery says flip-flops should only be worn at the beach." :rotfl:

I'm in the flip-flops are my favorite shoes club. I LOVE them. :) I do understand they are not for everyone though.

Here in Florida, I wear them almost year round. I'll even wear them in the winter on days that are mild. :sunny:

I have cute feet, so I don't mind seeing them. :cool1: I think I have about 6 pairs.

I LOVE flip-flops! I must have at least 5 or 6 pairs! I work in a daycare, and we all wear them in the summer, it gets hot out on that playground! I agree about mens' feet though.......I don't like a man in flip-flops or sandals......yuck!

Is it me or has the flip flop craze really gone wild in the last 3-5 years. For some reason when I was in school, even after school when in my early twenties I didn't see as many people wearing them. I didn't wear them then, but I do wear them now. That is all I wear, unless I wear something a bit dressy. I even wear them with jeans in the winter, that is my fav! My feet have a tan line going across the top where the strap is. :thumbsup2

The minute the temp goes up high enough, I ditch the shoes and wear flip flops at all times. Primarily because they feel better due to my friggin' gout. At least that's what I tell people. I wear them all the time and get pretty cranky when I have to wear anything.

Anyone see The Birdcage? Remember Agidor Spartacus when he had to wear shoes and fell over all the time? Yep, that's me when the temp drops below 60.

Yo Michie, I ever meet you, I'm gonna waggle my size 12's at you with a come hither look, smoky eyes, and mutter, "hey baby"

Well, I don't mind feet but I do hate the sound and don't wear anything that divides my toes. I don't find that at all comfortable. I do however have Nike sandals that I suppose are similar to flip-flops in that they slip on and do make that sound but nothing between my toes.

Fridays in my office are a nightmare for those who hate the sound as it is dressdown day and nearly every woman is in capris and flip-flops. There is a woman we jokingly tease because she hasn't ever worn the same pair twice. She must have 20+ pairs in every color imaginable!

PS: Gina, your girls are beautiful, right down to those cute little toes!

I've been wearing flip-flops as often as possible (in the warm months, anyway...) for at least 15 years, so I guess the fad has finally caught up with me :thumbsup2 . I love the fancier flip-flops that are out so I can wear them for dressier occasions (not weddings...) although I admit the first time I did I felt a little self-conscious, but not anymore. My toes are pedicured and painted, so I really don't think they should skeeve anyone...

My Teva flip-flops got me through two WDW vacations (riding Soarin' barefoot is very cool), I'm on my third pair now. And I happen to like men in flip flops, too :goodvibes .

DH thinks flip flops are sexy so I have a pair in every colour imaginable. Sorry to all you feet haters but I've got to keep that spark alive ;) :rotfl:

hate 'em!!!

I will wear sandals sometimes.
