I watched the webcast on Tuesday, and I was curious if anyone watching the story of the big Sweet 16 heard the part about how the girls were "out on the balcony at like 1 or 2 am yelling to people walking on the Boardwalk" ? And the parents were laughing and talking about how memorable it was!! How lovely for you- but what about the neighbors around you????? I bet they didn't think it was so wonderful! Am I taking crazy pills, because I would have been horrified if the girls I took for my daughter Sweet 16 last week had done ANYTHING like that! Never mind having DVC put it out on the web! :rolleyes1

Yes, I thought that exactly: what about all the people they woke up? Why did the producers of this segment think that that was an amusing story? Kids screaming in the wee hours of the morning is inconsiderate, not amusing!

YUP- I was thinking about the members in the rooms around them coming home and posting on the boards about how their vacation was great except the night that they were woken up by teens yelling on their balcony. I assume that the parents must not be around when something like that happens. In this case they were taking pictures of it for their scrapbook!:confused3

If I recall they said they were staying in a GV, is it possible where the GV are located that there are no surrounding rooms they would have been disturbing and that was Disney's thinking when showing the segment? I know I was so excited about the Boardwalk opening then we went there one evening to explore and it was so noisey, DH said he never wanted to stay there. Last year we went over during the daytime around noon and it was like a ghost town quiet and peacefull very few patrons around when we went to ESPN for lunch so it seems the night time is when it is busy and perhaps noise is expected when staying there?:confused3

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the 1 story GVs and the balcony was huge- ran the length of the villa. We had the entertainers on the boardwalk chatting with my sons and daughter-in-law. With the doors closed, you couldn't hear any of them from the inside at all.
