But would you really want them to make the video longer? If there's a longer video, they can't re-seat the theater as often, which translates to longer wait times. Doesn't matter if you're Fastpass or Standby, the limiting factor is still the number of seats in the theater.

Yeah, if you download the video on youtube you'll see the attraction is actually closer to 5 mins long as opposed to 3mins. And I really like the CA theming. Why would they want to change the original in DCA???? It's a CA-themed park. D'oh.

All I can say to those who think it is "lame"... good, you'll shorten the wait times by not bothering going on it. And I can enjoy it more and more.

Maybe it's just me, or maybe I was expecting something different, but I though Soarin' was pretty lame.....................

Everyone has their own opinions of course, but we loved it.

I love Soarin', but I think they should have used several key places in America (Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Vegas, NYC, etc.) and placed it in the American pavilion somewhere. Like someone else said, Soarin' over America.

The best thing about Soarin' is that it takes some of the load off of Test Track, so that those lines aren't even longer.

Honestly, I think it's OK, but not worth running for at the morning rope drop.

I think maybe it was hyped to me too much before I went on it.

I'm a thrill ride lover, and I love Soarin. But it isn't a "thrill ride" and nobody should expect it to be. It has its own niche and it should be enjoyed it for what it is, not for what anyone wants it to be. Just my opinion.

I really hope they come up with a movie for FL. Not in any exact order here. Maybe soaring with the wildlife across the Keys and gators in the Everglades. Across the FL Orange Groves and hills (yes there are hills in FL ask ducklite ) Dropping in on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to get a birdseye view of a Shuttle launch off the Cape.
Across the white sands of the Emerald Coast and meeting up with the Blue Angels out of Pensacola.
Back to quickly fly over the parks at night to finish with the trip up mainstreet to Cinderella Castle.

We just went to Epcot for the 1st time last week (our 3rd time at WDW) and Soarin' was my favorite ride! But, I am not a thrill ride person. It's sad because the rest of my family wasn't very impressed with Epcot and I don't know when or if we'll ever go back there, and this is my new favorite ride in WDW.
