Am I the only one?

I thought Wishes was really good. I think I'd rather do it on a day where MK is open after the show in mid summer than a day where the show is it and they herd you out of the park.

I think Wishes is a good fireworks show, and probably great technology as far as they go, but I'm only mildly impressed with fireworks. As far as nighttime shows, I'd much rather watch Illuminations or Fantasmic. They seem like a much more complete "show" to me than does Wishes.

Wishes is OK - I like the music & fireworks just fine, but it reminds me of the start of The Magical World of Disney too much... It gives me the feeling of sitting in front of a TV & waiting for the movie to start.

I'm dying to see Illuminations properly one of these days. The globe wasn't operating due to lightning (BOY! what a show mother nature put on that night!)

Wishes is ... OK. The pyrotechnics are inspiring, the soundtrack not so much. And I find the little girl's voiceovers to be somewhat cloying.
DH and I are much more into Illuminations (especially the extended Christmas version) and Fantasmic.
That said, to each his own. And thank goodness we are able to have so many wonderful choices!

I liked Wishes but wouldn't shed a tear like some do. It was okay for me. I guess I was expecting more.

but Illuminations.....now that is a show!
a show with true meaning behind it!

But once again, different things affect people different ways. I love reading all the reviews and all the different opinions.

I believe there is nothing that we can all agree upon

I feel the same. I love Disney fireworks, but I didn't like Wishes as much as Illuminations! It's just fireworks with music, which I find a little boring. It's my least favorite out of the 3 nighttime shows.

Don't get me wrong though, I still like it. It's better than any other plain firework shows I've seen. But if I had to only see one of the night shows, it wouldn't be Wishes.

Unfortunately wishes didn't do it for me either. The audio went silent about 10 seconds into it and remained silent the entire time, so it was just fireworks. This summer we're trying again.
