Am I the only one who's a teensy bit disappointed?

I don't know, I guess with that "save your credits" pronouncement on the home page, I was expecting something a little more spectacular. Don't get me wrong, I loooove the treat bags, and bought quite a few, but I just thought (or maybe was hoping) it would be something, well, grander.

Maybe it's just me.

i agree Jennifer . I was looking for something witha bit more "WOW " to it . I am hoping that they add something spectacular this afternoon. Remember the first week , the bat magic pin and new funiture wasnt released until afternoon.

I might be way off base here, but I think the coffee/mermaid comment was VMK speak for "I'm going to Starbucks". They have a mermaid as their logo.

I don't think it's a new room, although a Starbucks in VMK would be cool.

I agree. I totally LOVE the new Candy Dispensing Tongue Bags. The Jafar Hats are great! Especially with the Big J being one of my favorite characters (I have to submit a request to allow vizier to be added to the dictionary, hmmm... I wonder if advisor is already there...).

I already had a Green Superhero costume, but didn't have the Mask - Was happy to get that. I am very disappointed the Girls get another costume and the Boys don't (Pink Superhero can't be bought by Boys ).

I also already had a full Yellow Explorer Costume with Camera, but it was nice to pick-up the Plain Yellow Shirt. So now I have all hats and costumes (Yes, including Stitch. Well, I don't have Purple Superhero since that's not tradeable. And my girl Mule hasn't bought the Pink Hero yet today (but will) and won't have the Pink Dress until next week). So the collector in me is happy.

But with the note about Save your Credits I was expecting something HUGE like a new 10k Magic or 30k Item on par with the Quest Kiosk.

Yeah, sorry Grumpy, but Bat was there first thing in the morning that first Halloween Week. So were the new costumes (incluing the Crown) and Pumpkin Bags. The stuff they added in the afternoon was last year's Halloween stuff (Mickey Pumpkin, Skeleton Chair, Spider Web Divider, and Chernabog Rug. Side note - I've wondered why they put the rug in Specials but the other stuff just under Furniture?).

Regardless, you never know when VMK will add new stuff.

Well, I spent my fair share none-the-less today to keep the VMK Economy strong... I think about 60k. I still have about 50k left for that HUGE thing, should it be released later today (or this week)...

I'm not too disappointed but I say that because my credits are running low. I've been sick for two weeks and unable to earn much which is horribly bad timing but oh well. So if it had been something really spectacular I couldn't have bought it anyway.

I do not post much I kinda just browse the pages of the site to see what is going on. I have noticed something in the newsletter that I thought I would share with you all. I am not sure how to cut and paste it so you will have to look yourself sorry about that. In the newletter where it says to save your credits it also says to check back next Friday. Maybe it is just a typo or mistake made by VMK not sure but check it out. So maybe something big is still to come. As for me I will still be saving those credits just in case.

We never said we werent happy . In fact it was stated that we liked the new stuff. I was just pondering why the staff would emphasize "save those credits" for a 500 credit bag. I love the new candy dispenser. I laugh out loud everytime it sticks its tongue out .

Starbucks in VMK? Well, they do seem to pop up on every street corner,
it's about time we'd see them appear in VMK, too.

I had a close call with those pumpkin bags. I bought over 30 of them
yesterday to use for game prizes, but that wouldn't leave me with many
extras. So....I'll put some of them in as prizes and use web dividers
for the rest! Whew.

i agree with Mal. think of all the stuff you didn't have prior to october. i'm pretty happy with the candy dispenser. i was worried that i wouldn't get one because i'm no good at staff games.

anyway, with the Jafar hat out, it's not too far of a stretch to think that *maybe* the flying carpet pin will be released as a grand finale!

Never said you or anyone else did. But it seems that every week instead of a thank you thread to VMK for the awesome new releases and the rerelease of items that may not have been around when some of the newer players started and older players might not have been able to afford when they were first released we get a thread on how let down, disappointed or unhappy with the items that were released we all are. If I were the producers of VMK I would want to throw in the towel and say "what is the use"

I just think some postitive reinforcment would go alot further than all the negative feedback.

Don't get me wrong I have been focal about things that I feel VMK has done wrong in the past and I am sure I will be again (not brown nosing anyone here).

So it seems we're going to get a cool new hat every week:

Week 1 was the King's Crown
Week 2 was the Witch's Hat
Week 3 was the Jafar Hat

I'm noticing somewhat of a trend... King's Crown can possibly just be a guy's version of the Evil Queen crown, Witch's Hat, and the headdress of Jafar. I'm thinking the trend is hats of Villains.

I love the candy dispenser too, and was afraid it would cost a lot. Glad it didn't. I'm happy to see the mask on sale. But I won't get the green supersuit I still have some I never wear from last time, and will only buy a couple of pink ones.

I'm sorry to see the witch's hat go, I really think that should have lasted to Halloween even if none of the other costumes/hats did. But I did get about 10 of them.

I hope if they ever release the flying carpet pin they will do what they did with the orginial release of the bat pin, tell us in advance and how much it will be so people can save up. I don't really like surprises. I like to plan, so I'm prepared to meet whatever it coming. I spent half the night Yeting for credits. lol
