am I the only one who panics right before vacation?

Much of the enthusiasm has been changing to panic lately. For about a week now all I do is think about what may go wrong!
Will the furnace be running when we return? Will the car be snowed in when we land at the airport at 1030pm? If so, will we be able to get into the driveway? Will the car work? Will we have a flood in the basement?
Will I have enough money? Will we be happy with the dining rotation?
oh my - I may need to start my cruise vacation with a drink!

I don't panic about my house falling apart, I just panic that I will forget something important. I make a ton of lists. lol

No, you're not the only one I get obsessive compulsive right before any trip Not only do I worry about the things you mentioned, I keep checking the money, tickets etc. Once we leave I worry about things left undone at home or if everything was turned off. It takes me until about an hour away from home that I relax. Then it starts on the way home

No, never fear that you are the only one. I drive my DH nuts. I double check ressies, rental cars, pack and unpack. I goes on and the closer to departure the worse I get.

Oh, no, you're not alone. My mind can come up with some awful things at times. I can imagine all sorts of things going wrong for before, during and after our trips! I slip into panic mode before every trip worrying that I will forget important papers with critical information. Then I start to worry about the trip home and how I'm going to catch up on everything once I do get home .

My DS and DH never worry about anything I do it for all of us I used to pack for them too! DS does his own now and I stopped for DH when we arrived somewhere and he said "there are no socks here" I said "do it yourself next time"!!!

My husband said to me last night...."when are you going to start nagging me about playing hockey?" He is right, I always feel he might get hurt or something....knock on wood.....and naturally someone calls him to pick up an extra game. I drives me crazy!!!! I do have to understand he is a goalie so I guess if there isn't anyone in the net there isn't much of a game!!! Oh well....boys will be boys!!!

We leave Thanksgiving Day for the Magic 11/30.........

ummmmm...that would be ME! We leave in the morning and I still have a few things to do - the big one being PACKING. I have decided to take a break to calm down so here I am on the computer.

I never fully relax until we are in the room.

Did I mention that I hate to fly??

God, I dread that drive home, and we haven't even left yet.

What will I look forward to when we get back (and we haven't even left yet).

I hope Becky gets a good grade, because if she doesn't she will be bummed the whole trip.

I just get to the point and I am saying Do I really want to even go. YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!

I hate packing! with a passion I hate packing!!!!!

It will all pass when I am driving down I-77 to WDW. I hope!
