Am I the only one who never gets their waitlist??

I have justsuccessfully booked Boardwalk during Food & Wine though my home resort is Wilderness Lodge.

I just asked for the dates I wanted on points and asked if the unavailable dates were available for cash. They were. I managed to get my entire visit on a combination of points & cash. I then waitlisted all the cash days. One by one, I have got what I needed. I now have just one cash day to go.

As soon as I get my last day on points, I will cancel my cash days & get my deposit back.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I usually go on the waitlist at 7 months and I'm pretty flexible (ex 1 br BW no specific view ) I go all different times so I'm not looking for NYE. And I've tried all different resorts. Usually I'm looking for 4-5 nights. Fortunately I own at the BCV which I really love so I'm happy where I am but I would like to experience other homes. I'll try some of your suggestions. Thanks
