Am I the only one who has never tasted...

My husband calls it $6 pudding.

I happen to like the creme brulee I tried at Kona, thought it was very nice.

We LOVED the creme brulee at Jiko! My friend had pre-ordered a sampler for a bachelorette dinner, so I'm not sure what type it was but it was definitely one of the first things gone.

Another banana fan! I don't usually order dessert, but had a blast a few weeks ago on the meal plan. Out of the 4 that I tried, the banana at Kona was my favorite!

Mmmm....love creme brulee....especially good creme brulee!

Personally, I always thought cheesecake was overrated.

this is too funny. My husband was once a cook at a very high end resort. He loves Creme Brulee, but I had never had it. When we dined @ Spoodles in December I decided to try it. I loved it!!! So much so that I bought him ceramic ramekins and a propane torch so he could make it for me at home!!!!

Being the great guy (and cook) he is, we have it weekly since Christmas.

I knew I married him for a reason.

Unfortunately I have had to increase my time on the treadmill to make up for it..

If you've ever made pudding from scratch, you'd charge $6 for it too. Custards are a pain in the rear to make.

(I have a propane torch and have made creme brulee at home, too. But it is basically custard or pudding with a burnt sugar top - no reason creme brulee lovers couldn't invest in a torch, some sugar, and a box of Jello Instant Pudding.....)

It is a lot like custard, I really liked the one at Fountainview Cafe, at Epcot. It was only around $3.
