Am I the only one who does this?

Ward Family-that's a sweet story. I got tears in my eyes just picturing a little girl saying that. Simple things like that make me so sappy...but it sure is a happy sappy! Thanks for sharing that.

No! I was crying at Disney on Ice a few weeks ago. Looking at my boys watching Mickey and Friends and hearing the music is enought to do that to me. Join the Club!

i cried at all the fireworks, everything. but now my kids are acting in a disney show at our local rec center (lawncrest rec, 4/22-24 for anyone who lives in philly!) and i tear up at all the songs every practice. the other moms must think im crazy. their kids love to act, well we just love disney! LOL

Oh absolutedly. I cry at fireworks, parades, in the American Adventure during the montage at the end (JOhn John saluting-I'm a goner). I cry in Soarin at the end, in Philarmagic, in the Great Movie Ride-the scenes at the end, the Festival of the Lion King, and the list goes on. I cried before I had kids, and now that I have kids, well, it's all over!! Just the other night I went into YouTube and downloaded the old Main Street Electrical Parade. Now I sob like a baby. My family is used to me-hey, I love the magic!!:wizard:

When I even hear a Disney commercial ..........I swear my heart beats faster. I try hard to keep the tears in but, I feel so much at Disney with my family. Thank god for my big Gucci sunglasses! I keep them on as I exit attractions like Soarin', Philharmagic........... all because I am crying happy tears.

The first note of Wishes and the happy tears flow. Even playhouse Disney gets me.

OK, I'm a real geek, I know, but I get choked up and teary whenever I hear "Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride". Weird, I know, but the first thing we did on our first day of our first trip to WDW was attend the Ohana Breakfast. That song was playing when my 2 kids realized that Lilo, Stitch, and Mickey were going to come say hello to them! I have never seen their eyes so wide!

So now whenever I hear that song, I lose it. DH thinks I'm nutso. DD5 always catches me w/tears in my eyes and says "Oh Mama, I know how you feel. I miss Disney too." So sweet!

My now 21 month old daughter likes to watch the aprade and wave back at the characters on the computer. And yes I cry!! And the music from wishes always makes me cry.

Uh, no, you are not alone. ;) I've loved Disney my whole life, go all of the time, and it still makes me teary when Mickey saves the day at Fantasmic or when the Spectromagic parade goes by on Main Street at night. The commercials on TV always make me teary, and DH, too. :goodvibes

I can't even think about hearing 'The Circle of Life' without crying.

Me too! The Lion King is such a powerful movie to me, with such great music!

All I have to hear is "When You Wish Upon a Star" and I'm a goner!

At our wedding, we surprised everyone with the English Butler delivering the rings. Noone knew, not even the Best Man who was supposed to have them. (We told him that we gave them to the Rev, then asked the BM for them when it was time. He freaked!) When the Rev asked for the rings, the English Butler walks up the aisle to "When You Wish Upon a Star." All you can hear in the background on our video is my mom's best friend:

"Boo HOO HOO!"

My mom and grandmother had been holding it together up that point, but burst out in tears when she started crying. It was so sweet!

I guess that song is really meaningful to some people, and I can see why.

i just took dd, who is almost 3, to disney on ice princess wishes, and seeing how jazzed she was, and how SO totally engrossed she was, yeah i teared up. it was awesome, she was bopping along in her chair, pointing everyone out, shouting out their names when each character appeared on the ice, waving hi, etc. it was so incredibly magical.

I couldn't help crying when we went to WDW for the first time. We rode the monorail to the Contemporary that first night and went past the Castle. DD looked awe struck. The look on her face was priceless--moved me to tears! Apparently it moved her, too--she wet herself! She was only 5, I still carried changes of clothes, just in case. Still, a magic moment!
