rarely watches TV? All the threads about TV shows and I hardly know what everyone is talking about. I'm doing good if my TV is on 3 times in a month! It just doesn't intrest me. Am I alone?

i don't really watch tv nowadays, since i'm at college. we do have a tv, it's just never on.

No, I watch little also. When I do, it is those of interest to me, History Channel, Travel, Discovery, TLC, A&E, PBS, CNN, C-SPAN...boring to many, but those are the few I like. I have not watched any series since the late 60's.

I rarely watched TV when I was in college, for several years when I was younger I didn't even own one. I watch more now than I ever have, maybe because I can use the computer and watch at the same time.

I do watch my SOONERS play and I watch my boxing, but I'm not home when I'm watching either of them. I'm either at Champions (a sports bar) or I'm at my parents watching a fight.

I watch TV and am on the net way too much... because I don't have a life! I didn't even have a TV when I lived in Orlando... what a horror! I just can't imagine what else there would be to do in that town?

the only time i watch TV is when i am babysitting and the kids have allready gone to sleep! lol and even then, there really isn't anything good on ya know? I can live without watching TV.. but i can't live with movies... we have like 754265872493572 movies and DVDs at my house hehe

The TV is on pretty much all the time. Things are gonna be even worse when the Stars start the regular season.

Well I don't watch any of the shows that are talked about. I really only watch tv after 10pm & then it is comedy ie Jon Stewart, Dennis Miller, Jay Leno or HBOCY. The only show I watch prime time is Southpark at 9pm on Wed. Now I would like to catch an episode of the Osbornes but haven't done so yet.

Dh watches the News, History, Science & Speed channels.

I don't watch too much, not when I read what eveyone else is watching! No wonder the DIS is so quiet after 8PM!

I rarely catch anything on primetime, it's just not my thing. And I hate canned in laughter!

I do like HBO; The Sopranos, Sex and The City, 6 Feet Under and I like Animal Planet, The Travel Channel and the Food Network (for Unwrapped on Monday nights.)

Other than that, all these shows; Everyone Loves Raymond, Friends, ER, I couldn't tell you what those shows were about!

I rarely turn it on to watch something myself. My DH turns it on all the time and I hear it a lot due to him, but it is more of a background noise to me just because it happens to be in the same room as my computer. I've gotten so used to it as background noise that I find myself turning it on when I go upstairs to read But as for watching it for myself, I really don't do it much.

You're not alone. The only shows I watch are Raymond and Becker. (and I just started last season ). Dh was watching Friends and I came in the room asking him what show he was watching. He's like Friends, been on about 8 yrs., shows how much I know about tv.
