Am I the only one that does this?

I went to McAlister's Deli at lunch and ordered a salad to go. After 25 minutes of waiting and finally making it back to the office, I look at the salad and decide I'm not really hungry. I don't know if it's I'm not hungry or just didn't like the looks of it. It was the first time I've ever ordered a grilled chicken salad from there. I'm VERY picky about my chicken and usually avoid it at fast-food places. I went against my judgement and ordered it anyway. They didn't cut the chicken into strips or anything. So I have this pastey white previously frozen cooked chicken breast that was just warmed up staring at me. I couldn't bear the thought of even trying it. After three bites of lettuce, I put the lid back on and throw it in the trash. Yes, I wasted about $7, but I just couldn't help it. The looks of the thing was making me

Do you ever order a meal and then realize that's not what you wanted and can't eat it? I wish I could say that was the first time that's happened, but I'd be lying.

Yes!
You are not alone! I'm not proud to say this, but I have done this more than once. Like you, I avoid chicken because I am very picky about it unless DH or I make it.

I did this once in college, but it was with a McDonald's extra value meal...just threw the whole bag in the trash without eating it...should have given it to a homeless person, but I didn't think about that until I had walked a couple of blocks...

Same thing happened to me with the McDonalds chicken ceaser salad.
