We're paying rack rate for our trip in October. I'm still hoping for some kind of discount before we go. I anticipate some kind of code in April or May.

we pay rack rates but only when we stay at FW in our camper. when staying at a resort we always either went with a CM discount or and AP discount. (the only exception to this being our last trip where we payed rack rates for the resort and got the free dining thing.)

we will be rack rating it again at FW in our camper this August.

I am trying not to let my lack of a discount sour my excitement for the trip. Everyone says WL is worth the $$, so I won't have regrets.

Its all psycholgical...I'd probably spend more $$ on extras if I thought I was saving somewhere else...kind of like the "phantom savings" someone mentioned. I'll be more careful with souveniers, etc... knowing I paid full price.

I guess what I am saying is...Throw me a bone Disney, and I'd probably throw you a bigger one back."

Rack rate here as well. I'm going May 3-9th @ Pop and when I called the offer of Free Park Hoppers was not longer available at POP.

We are going 4/4-4/13 and paying full price at GF Sugar Loaf concierge. We booked our rooms over a year ago with the hope of getting AAA discount. When those rates finally came out, there were none available for us. We have tried booking (and re-booking) with a AAA agent with no luck. And we frequently check back for pin codes. Nothing.

I'm in the rack-rate club as well! Our honeymoon dates were non-negotiable, so we're stuck. I'm hoping an AP rate will come out, but since we are already booked in a certain room type at AKL, odds are that we won't get any discount.

Still, as the CM at reservations told me perkily, just going during value season helps a lot!

Chalk another one up to the rack rate! We did receive a PIN code, but it was for the Value resorts only and ended about 3 weeks before we were planning to travel and we didn't want to move it up. Also, when I called we couldn't get the park hopper upgrade either (allotted amount of rooms were used up). So alas, we are paying FULL price, but I know it will be worth every last dime!

We are paying rack rate now too! We had a AAA discount for next year but we moved up our dates and now we have no discount. The AP discounts just came out today and it is killing me that I can't call like I use to to get a discount when we had AP's.

I'm sure my parents paid rack rate for the trips we took as a family. The first trip I planned by myself I got a discount with one of the codes I found on the Dis. Now I'm paying rack rate again. I'm really hoping for free dining since that's one of the reasons I convinced my husband to do Disney this year. Crossing my fingers and hoping for lots of . If there is no free dining, I'm hoping that we will at least get something. I'll be happy with a public code.

I have never been a AAA member until this year. First joined so that I could enjoy the Platinum Loews First benefits while staying at the PBH and I'm saving almost $60/night on their lowest rack rate and have been upgraded to a suite. Saving about $200 during our 4 night stay at the CBR and I'm saving $20/night at the WorldQuest. Total saving $580 - investing in the membership was well worth it this year. Have you checked your dates with your local AAA travel office?

You don't need to go through your AAA office if you have a room-only reservation. Just call WDW Reservations and ask if there is a AAA discount - if you are a member.
