Am I the only one not doing HB?!

No the half board can't be used at Planet Hollywood. There is a children's menu, main course. lovely ice cream and a drink for I think it was 13 euros. The adult main course start at about 14 euros. The drinks however are a bit of a price. I think we were paying 7 euros for a pint of lager. Fab place though, we love it.

Sorry, pressed the submit before I'd finished.

Two adults and one childs meal when we go is usually about 65 euros. No puddings though there.

You do get 15% or is it 20% of your food bill on your return visit, only if you order before 5.00.

I know very little about HB so can I just tell you our eating plans and you tell me if I should do HB or not please!!:lmao:

We will have our Hotel New York breakfast and then will probably only want a proper meal around 6pm. We will probably eat at Rainforest, Planet Hollywood, Annettes Diner and Cafe Mickey.

Do we need HB and do we/can we prebook tables??

thanks for any help!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Can;t use vouchers at Rainforest or Planet Hollywood. I was tempted to try the voucers out for the odd night but I'm sure you either have to buy them for the whole visit or not at all, so we haven't bothered

I know a little about HB and about restaurants. I have the same thoughts with you. I am thinking that if a dinner costs 50euros per person, it is worth it buing a HB even if you are using it only once. (For us it is HΒ Plus +£126.00 pounds for 2 people and a little girl 4 days, 3 nights)
£126.00 is 135 euros. So ... I think it is worth it even if you use it once or twice.

That's becaus when they publiced the prices sterling was very expensive, but now it is almost the same as euro.
So it is better for you to pay in sterlings

I think that the vouchers are as many as the NIGHTS you are staying, Not the days. (that's not fair)

also,

also,

this is what I'm wondering - I've heard people say they've used vouchers at face value and then just paid cash for the difference. But could you just say use 2 vouchers for cafe mickey and not have to pay cash at all that day and then pay oop for say rainforest?? If you can, is that way still cheaper than paying all oop when you get there??

Littlemermaid - that wasn't per day, it was overall. So I only had one hotdog and one cookie over the whole trip and bought 2 hot chocolates.
I took some crisps and snack sized packets of biscuits with me, along with 6 litres of water, in smaller bottles, and some of the small cups of hot chocolate to have in the room.
I ended up taking way too much food with me and brought most of it back again.:rotfl:

We haven't / won't ever do HB as we stay offsite :(

BUT what we save on accom, we can then spend on a nice evening meal ;)

we tend to eat a good breakfast, then snack in the afternoon and eat dinner around 6pm ish

HB does sound fab and if offsiters could book it too ,then I definitely would :)
