Am I still a "newbie"?

When is a person in training and doing events no longer a newbie? I've been doing this almost three years now and so far have done two Halfs, TOT, two Minnies and six 5Ks and I still feel pretty new at this.

Are you no longer a newbie after so many miles? After you've done events and have the bling to prove it? After you've logged 9000 hours on the E/C Forum? :rotfl:

Best answer I have for that is when you can answer more questions than you ask. I'd have to say you are a veteran these days!

Another agreement! ::yes:: You are definitely NOT a newbie, Ms. Judy!

Krista

Judy dear - You may not be a newbie anymore, but that sure doesn't take the shine off your apple to me.

Not new, just fresh and innocent. Well, maybe just fresh. :thumbsup2

Queen Judy, If you are a newbie, what about us your lowly YARC servants?

Honestly, we are all newbies to some extent as we all learn new things every day! We are also somewhere between intermediate and experienced too.

Erica:)

Judy and newbie in the same sentence...:rotfl2:

I think you are just going to have to accept the fact that you are aging with the rest of us and can no longer be put in the young catagory. :lmao:

Awww come on, you're a newbie when the newbies post and bring back those fond memories!

Judy, I think you have moved passed the 'Newbie' phase into he 'Experienced' phase. :worship: I'm still a newbie with only 1 event under my belt and I look forward to being an experienced runner/walker.

Carrie - Well, that's a good point. :thumbsup2 As long as someone asks me the right question. Reminds me of "I know a little 'bout love, and baby I can guess the rest." ;)

Krista - Aww, thanks. I guess I know enough to get me from the start to the finish line, eh?

Kristi
- You don't really want me to answer that, do you??? :lmao:

OptimatorMike
- Oh Mike! :lovestruc How sweeeeeet! :cloud9: Fresh? Me???? Nahhhhh.

Erica - You are NOT lowly servants! No no!! Hey, "intermediate", yeah, that's good. I'll take that! ::yes:: How's the feets???

OriginalBill - OMG! :lmao: Ha ha ha! :rotfl2: Wait. That's not funny. :headache: Grrrrr. (Actually, it's hysterical!)

Lily - That's so true. :goodvibes

SamSam
- OK, yes, I'll take "experienced". I like the sound of that. :thumbsup2 Sounds better than "OLD" as some people around here insinuate. :rolleyes2

I've been hiding and Judy I have to come out of it to say WERE YOU IN MY HEAD THIS WEEKEND? OMG! I asked Susan that on Saturday!:lmao:

I like the Experienced. I don't feel quite newbie-ish but definitely still learning so I wouldn't say I am a veteran so I like that Sam! Thanks for coming up with it.

Back to work! :badpc:
