Am I slightly insane?

I just changed my trip up some and am doing Disney and Universal equally. I made pretty much all my ADR's, and looking at them, they're all buffets! Is doing all buffets a little much? They're almost all dinner time, except for doing the Tusker House lunch for the reserved Nemo seating. Here's what I have now, if anyone has any good alternatives, I'm open to hearing them! Thanks!

10/4 (arrival)
Biergarten 6:25pm

10/5
Tusker House 2:30pm

10/8
Crystal Palace 5:35pm

10/10
Cape May Cafe 6:45

10/11
Boma

I am not a big buffet person (exept bk) but it looks like you have a lot of variety (african, seafood, german) and many of these are character so I am sure you will have a good time.

I can't handle too many buffets myself, but you seem to have them spread out nicely. I would keep them!

I like buffets but cannot do all my reservations as buffets. I like a good sit down dinner with menus!!!

I do too! I had Mama Melrose booked instead of Cape May (I fell in love with their Chicken Parm), but reaaaaaaalllllly love me some seafood. I've done Boma twice now, and was thinking of doing one of the other AKL places. Just not sure if I'd like it. Also thinking of doing another Epcot day that day instead.

We love buffet's, there is always something for everyone. We also enjoy good TS dinner, so we try to squeez in a few of those as well.

I know its not much better than a buffet, but I'm thinking 'Ohana for 10/11, and doing a MK/EP day. I was wanting to do that last trip but wasn't able. Or Akershus? I really enjoyed Akershus last time I went, and would like to do it again, but I also really want to try both Biergarten and Ohana.

I would do both Biergarten and Ohana before Akershus. Akershus is more about wall-to-wall Princesses than about the food.

Nothing wrong with buffets; you are doing 5 spread out over the course of a week, not 5 in 2 days. Assuming you will have CS or just munch on snacks for a lot of your other meals, buffets can be a smarter way to go.

If you cancel anything, I'd look at substituting Yak&Yeti TS for Tusker lunch on your AK day; to me the Tusker food is a little closer to Boma's.

My plans are starting to look pretty similar with a lot of buffets. I think it'll be just fine because with all the variety there will be something for everyone!

We are doing all buffets as well, but that is mostly because we are staying at the Beach Club and just love the convenience of going to Cape May every night. Nothing beats being able to go up to your room to shower and change after a day at the parks or pool, and casually walk down to dinner. Plus we really like the food and service there.

I'm what you would call a "hustle and bustle" person. I love being around a lot of action so the buffet works well for me. I can't stand quiet, slow moving and stuffy so I really prefer the buffets because of that.

We are also booked at 1900 Park Fare for dinner and breakfast, Ohana for breakfast and Cape May for not only dinner but breakfast as well.

I also do not like all buffets. After a long day, I want to be waited on and give my feet a rest :)

Well I am a small eater, so I like buffets because I can take a tablespoon of this and 2 tablespoons of that and get alot of nice variety. I get my fruit & veggies, (not a big meat or bread eater), and can have a couple of their small desserts, and am happy.
Table service I fill up and feel terrible about the wasted food. I just fill up too fast. Even an appetizer and dessert is too much, and I really want to taste the different things.
But I do hate it when you have to wait forever for the bill. I am also a big water and coffee drinker, and really do want refills. Can't get servers to do that often enough, even at table service. For some reason, they only let you have one refill of coffee. :confused3 I'll pay for another cup of coffee! I just want more!!

Thanks for the suggestions! I changed it up some and am completely happy with what I have......not to say I won't change it again. October is a while away! I now have:

10/4
Akershus 5:30pm (I know its not about the food, but I love my girls!)

10/5
Tusker House 2:30pm

10/8
Crystal Palace 5:35pm

10/10
Via Napoli 7:45pm

10/11
Ohana 8:05pm
