Hi All!!

Just need some reassurances from like-minded people...here's why

I am planning to take my DW, DD(8) and DD(6months) to Port Orleans Riverside for two weeks.

Nothing unusual there, I hear you saying...

I am planning for 2011!!!

DW thinks I am completely bonkers, as at home they call me "grumpy". But something happens to me at Disney. We have been to DLP twice, where DW an DD stood with their jaws on the floor, while i SKIPPED down Main Street!!

I think 2011 will be ideal for us as new DD will be 3 bt rhen and older DD will be 11.

Am I crazy or is this feeling normal?

I am planning for 2010/11 so I am saying were normal!;)

:Booked last year for this year, booked last year for 2010 transatlantic cruise and know the dates we want for 2011 so in answer to your question I would say you are as crazy as the rest of us :rotfl2:

We are planning a trip for Christmas 2010/New Year 2011. We have decided where we are staying, some of the restaurants, some of the tours we want to do and some places we want to visit off site. So no I don't think you are mad!!

I'm already planning for November 2010 :thumbsup2

Nothing major at the moment - we're planning to spend a few nights at the Portofino hotel in Universal (so we can see Harry Potter at Island of Adventures) so just doing some reading and will spend this year keeping an eye on when deals come out so I know when to book next year!

I'm a psychologist as well as a disney fanatic - I would say you are neither crazy or bonkers but completely normal!! :thumbsup2

I will be lucky to get out to WDW for even 2011 but not one day goes by without me thinking about going there. so no you are just normal by our standards.

Happy planning. keep us informed with regard to your plans.

Susan

We got back from our last trip in October 2006 and by November I was planning for August 2009.

Now I'm not saying I'm normal but surely we can't all be barking mad - can we?:rotfl2:

All the planning and investigation (and chatting to like minded people on her) gives me something to do until we get there!!!:)

You are completley normal :thumbsup2 .We go in April this year+i booked way back in Dec 2007+the planning started in May2007.
I have already started thinking about April 2011.
3yrs old is a great age to take your Dd,we took ours when she was 3+she still remembers things about it to this day.Now can't wait to go back with our other little girl who will be 4 when we fly(this is her first time).x.

 There's nothing wrong with advance planning, we do it regularly.
It take us so long to save up we use the planning to keep the post holiday blues at bay;)
Where else can you have such a great time and have activities for all age groups and better weather than Britain? Europe's okay but let's face it its not Florida.
Browsing the threads here helps too, lots of useful info and photos and you don't feel so far from "home" TBH we'd move there if we could afford to.
