Does anyone ever do this? Sometimes I randomly scope out the match.com profiles for fun. Well someone mentioned that they loved Disney and all of the sudden I knew this person had to be my new b/f. lol :rotfl: Yes I am a nutjob...:rolleyes1

I sued to do the same thing with guys I barely even knew. It would be like, "oh we have the same favorite band, we must be soulmates." I think I'm just in love with being in love.

In short, we're not so different, so the answer is, yes you are, I'm sorry to be the one to break the news to you.

I vote yes too.
:rolleyes1
You asked.

You're far from the only person I've known like that :rotfl:

Was just having a similar conversation with a friend of mine. We were talking about a mutual acquaintance when my friend said he'd "had a thing" with the acquaintance's son... finishing with "HE'S HOT!"

This "thing" was prior to his current long term involvement with his partner...

But my unasked question was, "If he was so hot, what happened???" :)

I'm guessing...

My friend was just coming out of a bad break up, and this "hottie" was there...

The hot guy is now involved in a long term relationship (this was all about 5 years ago) and life is good for both of them.

I did tease him mercilessly though when he couldn't recall his name right off.
"You 'had a THING WITH HIM and you can't remember his NAME'!!!!" :lmao:

Hey faux outrage can be useful. :teeth:

You are not nutzo. Promise.

Sheesh, match.com charges you like $30 to be able to email someone. Looks like Disney lover guy won't be hearing from me afterall.

$30 isn't much if it helps you find your Prince Charming.

Has anyone seriously met someone worthwhile from there? :confused3

I do that sometimes :) Don't worry, you're not crazy. Well.... THAT crazy :)

OP-- :rotfl2: ROFLMAO!

I just saw the thread title on the way somewhere else and had to stop in.

Not too long ago I heard, "If you have to start a discussion with all the ways you are not crazy, you have already lost..." (Don't remember where- probably on tv...)

I think it also falls in the "Does this dress make my butt look fat?" category...if you have to ask:confused3...

Okay, sorry...you probably are not psycho (at least not clinically). Thanks for the chuckle, I will leave you alone now.:hippie:

There are way too many free sites to find guys on, no way would I be sending $30 just to send an email!

Google his username, lots of people use the same username for all of their accounts!

I've met people on the internet, and through craigslist. The internet really isn't all that bad of a place to meet people.

But I'd suggest searching his name to see if you can find him elsewhere. If anything, you'll have a new disney friend to chat with.

Never used that site. OKCupid and other free ones as Mike suggested...I'm uber thrifty. I actually met DP on AIM. A friend accidentally merged my and her buddy lists and one drunken night I started chatting with him. Almost three years later, here we are.

I'm guilty of this.

Yeah, there's no way I'm spending money for that. I'm not even interested in finding a guy, but the "Disney" thing pinged my interest. Maybe I'll try the google thing like you said, but is that stalking? :rotfl:

It's not stalking until you send them facebook invites before they've even spoken to you! :rotfl2:

interesting......................:rotfl:
