I just booked a trip from 5/22-5/28 as my kids are having an unexpected week off of school. I won't have a car, so we'll have to eat at the parks. All restaurants that are of interest to us are booked. Am I doomed for 6 days of counter service??? Is it possible to get in a restaurant on stand by??

Either it's eat counter service or find some out of the way places that you haven't eaten at before, like at the resorts.

You might want to try Marakesh, Nine Dragons, something at Swan and Dolpin, something at DTD.

I would just keep trying online for ADRs between now and when you leave, every day, a couple times a day. You never know what might open up!

Hi! We have been able to get into San Angel Inn and Prime Time Cafe as walk-ins. San Angel Inn was dead at that time. Prime Time, we walked in at 10:45 am, we loitered in the lobby and she let us put our name in at 11:00 am, we only waited about another 10 mins-which was fine, it was pouring outside. So it is possible, keep your fingers crossed!

DEFINITELY follow this advice!:thumbsup2 We were in WDW Presidents Week and I was able to switch around some ADR's online the week before we went. Just try to be flexible with your times and KEEP TRYING!! Joan

How late do busses run to downtown disney? We're from California so we're likely to eat late. DTD could be a good option as long as busses run later.
I'm weary of going to another resort just for the time it takes,...I'm also guessing I'd need to be done with dinner around the time the parks close to be able to get a bus back to my resort

We have had a great meal from EOS and will certainly go back, actually, it's counter service, but...the taste is awesome...Like the others have said, don't give up, others may cancel...the resorts have a few table service rest. also...

Keep checking online and calling before you go. People do cancel! Also check when you are there if you aren't having any luck. We always end up cancelling a breakfast or dinner because we are just too tired, or are having a great time at a particular park and don't want to leave or rush to an adr.

Keep calling. I just got 50's Prime Time yesterday for 6-8 @ 11:00am. Good Luck! Or try online reservations.:goodvibes

I agree with checking online or calling. When you get there, check with guest services in the resort to see what's available.

There are a few places that don't take ADRs - Beaches & Cream (BC) Big River Grill & ESPN Club (BW), the restaurants in the Swan/Dolphin plus some of the DTD restaurants. The BW/BC/S/D are easily accessible from EPCOT & Disney Studios.

DTD is open late so you have this as a transfer point to get from resort to resort when the parks close. You could also take a taxi if you don't feel like doing the buses.

I would keep trying now and keep trying when you are there. We were there during a busy spring break week both this year and last year and wanted to change things around and were able to make some reservations - even to popular character breakfasts & such. & you can always do walk ups too and try.

I walked into WCC at WL the year before last at Christmas Eve, waiting 5 minutes and got a table. I think that most places will try to fit you in, except for LeCaliar (sp) Have a great trip and even if you have to eat counter service the main thing is you are in Disney on vacation. Have a FUNtastic time:cool1:

We've walked into WCC once for lunch. I've seen people walk up to Sci Fi (sometimes), Kona Cafe, Marrakesh, Nine Dragons, Tony's, Yak & Yeti, San Angel Inn.

We've gotten same day ADR's @ LTT, Artist Point, 50's PT and Tutto.

Good luck!

On our first trip, we knew NOTHING about ADR's. Needless to say, we were quite surprised at how difficult is was to find a TS dinner. We were able to get quick ressies, though, at Liberty Tree Tavern, San Angel Inn, and 50's Prime Time Cafe. The food was good everywhere we ate.

And don't sell the CS places short! We had some great snacks and light meals at those. I don't know about you, but when it's hot, I don't want a heavy meal anyway. You'll be pleasantly surprised with your CS choices, IMO.

Have a great trip!
