Am I nuts?

Last night, i wrapped all my Xmas gifts up. Apart from stocking stuffers from Disney n Nov. I have finished all my shopping. In fact I am sending my overseas stuff today.......
I am not really big on the whole Christmas thing either... I just love shopping.
Do you think I am crazy?????

Yes, I used to be crazy like that too. Until I had kids. I haven't bought the first present yet. But I have bought 2 packs of Christmas cards.

Wow, I have one gift purchased. I don't even have any ideas. I am hoping to get a little shopping done next week at WDW.

I have a lot of my shopping completed. The hard part is keeping DH from buying more. I made him go into the closest last week and see everything I already had for DDs. Wonder how long it will be before he is back on the "let's buy that" kick

believe, my husband is like that too. DH's excuse is that he was one of 8 kids and that he feels compelled to buy the boys stuff that he did not have as a child. Which is sweet, but I have always been adamant that I don't want my kids to be spoiled, besides getting all that stuff at Christmas is overwhelming to them, imo.

I'm almost done with my shopping, but haven't wrapped any presents yet! Good for you for getting it all done early, tigger2on!

I have made a good dent in my shopping but haven't started the wrapping yet. I did buy some wrapping paper the other day, though .

I shopped early one year and ended up feeling let down as Christmas neared because I wasn't out shopping with everyone else. Now I wait until mid-November to start unless something really jumps out at me. I try to get everything done by middle of December.

I have most of my christmas shopping complete and was planning to get the wrapping started this week while DH is out of town. Not crazy just well planned. I hate having to fight the crowds at the malls during the holidays. I do most of my shopping online.

Well, if you're crazy, then I'm crazy also. I have my Christmas shopping done. The presents are all wrapped and on a shelf in the closet. I love to buy ahead of time. I get better bargins that way and I spread out the cost. Do I feel let down at Christmas? Not at all! I still go to the mall and soak up all of the Christmas atmosphere. The difference being that I am not one of the frantic shoppers. I stay calm and float happily through the sea of shoppers. I enjoy the Christmas decorations and the hustle, but I don't feel the pressure. I love it!

When I was in my 20's I used to start shopping in August. Now I'm lucky if I start 2 weeks before.

I did that one year this early and by Christmas I had forgot what I had bought so I ended up double buying some things!

Keep a notebook of the things and the people that you have bought them for. It keeps you from buying double or even buying the same thing twice. It is also nice to look back on year to year

I have some presents bought already, but nothing wrapped. I also do a lot of shopping on line and then a lot in stores. I also do gift certificates. I wish I could limit my shopping to wrapping and storing all the stuff in a closet. I go way overboard with stuff, but most of it is practical stuff, like clothes. The kids have learned that most of the "soft" packages are clothes so they alternate a "hard" package and then a "soft" package. They run out of "hard" packages first.

I used to have all mine wrapped early . . .until I realized that I would forget what present was what . . . .so now I just wrap a couple days before Xmas Eve . . .that way I can keep my sanity!
