Am I nuts to start planning a trip for April 2005 now?

I'm new here and need advice from some seasoned pros. An opportunity has presented itself where we may have the chance to visit WDW mid-April 2005. I am looking to get into a moderate hotel and there is availability at CBR and POR (think the kids will like CBR better, but I'm worried about the size of the resort). I will be traveling with dh and 2 dds - ages 8 and 3. Am I crazy for trying to pull this trip together in <45 days? Any help and/or suggestions is most welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Well, let's just say our first trip (in 2003), was because my DH was temporarily stationed in Biloxi, MS for a school. We went down there to visit for a few weeks, and he came back to the hotel one Thursday afternoon and said they didn't have class the next day (Friday). We grabbed our suitcases and drove 8 hours over to Orlando for an impromptu Disney weekend trip (and having not visited Disney since I was a teenager, I wouldn't suggest that LOL).

Fast-forward to last year... hubby had orders to Korea, and I was planning a trip to cheer up our daughter since daddy would be gone. Then, we found out that we could all go as a family, so there we were, a bit more notice but still a whirlwind trip (for more on that story, see this thread).

Now this year, my husband is still stationed overseas but was home for a visit. Last week, on the way back from the airport dropping him off to head back to Korea, my daughter announced to my mom and me that she thought a trip to Disney would cheer her up... so guess who's planning another trip? ;)
