Am I nuts to go this Friday to DL

and then CA on Sunday? I am hoping that hitting DL on Friday will save me some madness. I know that CA is typically slower on Sunday than DL but DH HATES crowds.

I do not think you are nuts - I assume that those are the only two days you can probably go.
Your strategy is good to do DL on Friday and DCA on Sunday. Avoiding Saturday is a good idea.
You might want to hit DL early Sunday before DCA opens and then hop over (if you are an early riser)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but DL this coming Friday a year ago was busy. I've seen worse, but it was pretty crowded.

If he hates crowds he won't be happy this weekend. Last year it was PACKED! We barely got on any rides. However if you utilize fastpasses and grab all you can early you should be ok.

If this was the only time you could go I would do it anyway. Being at DL crowded is better than not being there at all!

DCA was crowded today... 45 minutes for Soarin, 55 minutes TOT Some area schools are off tomorrow, so taht had something to do with it, but I would think that next weekend would be much worse..

Since that falls around presidents weekend yes it will be packed this weekend so your DH probably won't be too happy with all the crowds. I think you will see crowds regardless if you do DL on Friday and DCA on Sunday because this is a three day weekend if not a full week off for many.

Ok, so my family will be there this Wed-Fri. I have planned to go to DCA on Wed, as we get there around noon. Thursday is DL EE and then we will go to DCA during the DL busy time and then back to DL for the evening. How about Friday? I had thought about DL the entire day and leave in the afternoon. Will I have a problem with crowds on Fri? How about Wed and Thurs? Thanks
