We are all plan for our upcoming trip, the package as been decided, the hotel, the restaurants have be reserved, I have all the ones that I wanted...

Only about 70 days to wait....

But! While I'm waiting I'm starting to consider changing our trip to a land & sea trip............ :confused3

I would love to try a 3 days cruise with my family  , we cannot afford a week on a cruise because its too expensive (we are 5) :badpc:

So should I stop this nonsence?? Or maybe start dreaming on a cruise??

Do you think I'm crazy????? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OM gosh!!!.. I have been doing the same thing.. there's a land and sea cruise the same day that our trip is booked for... I keep checking out prices to see if they are going any cheaper... Nice to know its not only me having theses thoughts!!!... Keep us updated on your decision... Sarah :rolleyes1

Manon, we did land and sea last year, it was our first trip to Disney. We did the 4 day cruise and it was so quick, I couldn't imagine only doing a 3 day. We did find that we would have liked to spend more time in the parks and are going back for 7 days at Disney this time. The cruise was great but next time I'd like a full week instead, which means probably not Disney since I can't justify the $$ difference. Hope that helps!

The TA just e-mailed me, that there's nothing left available.....maybe thats a sign!!
I agree with you that 4 days in the Parks is too short, and that 3 days on a cruise is even shorter, but we did a 7 days trip in june, so this one is to do only what we missed!! And since 7 days cruise is out of the question for financial raisons, I tough that we could at least try 3 days and see if we like to cruise, and maybe in the next 2 years we could go on to a Carnival cruise.....

Well, I'm a bit sad, but, thats ok!

You could try "vacationstogo" for the cruise. They have great last minute deals....disney too. Maybe they aren't sold out. I too have priced out the cruise and done the what ifs! If you have 5 it is cheaper to book two inside rooms. Of course you should stop thinking about it....but cruising is nice!

Thanks to all of you, but theres been some changes. This afternoon I had to go with one of my twin to the eye doctor, and the exam told us that she needs to wear glasses all the time. So the extra money that I could have spend on a cruise is now going on a pair of glasses for my DD.

Thanks!

That's too bad Manon. We did the land and sea for the same reason though, to see if the kids liked to cruise, and boy, did they ever! Next time we'll do a week cruise. And if your situation changes, check into other short cruises other than disney. I've heard that there a few shorter ones to the bahamas from Port Canaveral that are other lines and may be worth a look into.

You know what, my insurance will cover all the expense for my DD glasses!! :cool1: So, might be a chance we cruise after all!!

My TA at CAA is working for me today, but with Wilma on her way to Florida she as lots of work for those who are there, and the other ones who are supposed to leave tomorrow, by the way good luck to them! ;)

So I will wait for my TA to call me back!!

Thanks Jeannie, I know that there's some other cruise line near Orlando and that we could try those, but I really have my heart set up on Disney  !!
