Am I missing somethings w/MY POINTS?

I signed up for My Points today and earned (or I thought) a few points on a couple different items. The points didn't show up in my account. Is the only main way to earn points by buying stuff??? I also do not want to download a bunch of stuff. Am I not understanding this?? Help please

Most things take at least overnight to credit to your account. When you purchase items, it takes several days to show up.

Mypoints earned by reading emails are credited "overnight". Responding to an email and purchasing a product, (or clicking directly through the mypoints site to make a purchase) are credited one of 3 ways: overnight, 14 days or 30 days after the purchase is made. It depends on the retailer, and the point level offered. Always keep track of mypoint purchases, because sometimes you have to 'nudge' mypoints to get your credit. (I will be emailing them today for the 1,000 points I am due for an order I placed 42 days ago.)
If you DO email them, make sure you allow 30 days to pass, because the first automated response you get from them will say,"Please allow 30 days for points to be credited to your account."

It`s a rewards program. They give you points for clicking on email links,shopping,short surveys,viewing websites,referring other people to their website.

I have earned over $350 worth of stuff from them so far this year!!

mypoints.com It's a reward site. You get points for reading emails, purchases, surveys, etc. You can redeem your points for many items, including webcertificates. I have just cashed in my points for one that I will use to buy Disney dollars. You can't purchase the DD online though - you have to get the plastic card and purchase them at the store.

Buy your film
Develop your film
Gas for vehicle

I use it for things like that that really 'add-up' on vacation.

You can also get restaurant gift certificates with your points. For our trip in (10 days...Yipeee!) I earned GCs for Rainforest Cafe, Bahama Breeze and Macaroni Grill.
