Am I Missing Something??

I missed my 180 day mark for Oct 28th-Nov 3rd because I just decided to go last week. I don't really book the hard to get reservations like BOG and CRT so I didn't think ADRs would be an issue.

BUT there are hardly any times available for dinner after 4 PM in the MK on November 1st AND November 2nd. Even restaurants around the MK like Cali Grill and Narcoossee's are completely booked. I know these restaurants are popular, but I haven't experienced them being completely booked this far out.

I double checked and there isn't a Halloween party. Is there another event going on that would cause no dining times after 4 in the MK?

This is a race weekend. MK doesn’t have many options to begin with and the two you mentioned are very popular.

I'm not looking for BOG and CRT. I'm talking places like Tony's and Skipper Canteen don't have any late reservations past 4:30 or 5 PM. Just seems odd to me considering we went the same time last year.

I do see a few up until 6 pm, but nothing after. I'm thinking they may be planning an after hours event such as DAH. Or maybe they are not yet loaded. I would keep checking.

Yes I'm having the same issue. Skippers doesn't even offer dinner on the 5th. There's no planned party, so I wonder what's up? We just decided to go Nov 1 - 6 today, and we can find very little.

I am just amazed in general how fast a lot of the reservations get gobbled up at 180 days out.

I know I gobble up more reservations than needed just to have options as it gets closer. I have at least 3-4 reservations for Mid November that I will be canceling. But since we CAN make reservations at 180 days out (before we even know our Fast passes) .. it's just the reality.

I managed to get a couple for my son and granddaughters, but had to leave us out to get them. I'll keep trying, though. Plans change. I'm not even trying for the hard ones like BOG either, lol

I've planned many Disney trips this far in advance and I've never seen this. It's very odd to me. Reservations seem to be very limited Nov 1st and 2nd in MK, Hollywood Studios, and AK. Very few (if any) reservations after 5:30 PM except for places like the Brown Derby and Yak and Yeti. The latest Mama Melrose reservation I could get was 4 PM. I was beginning to think I was crazy because I didn't see anyone else having the same issue. There's no way all these places are booked for after 5:30

November 5 I believe there is a CM party in the evening. So there won’t be dinner ADRs in the park and crowds at MK right around the 5th may be a bit heavier with people planning around that early closure.

I haven’t been able to get anything in the evenings. Mostly around 4 or earlier. I’ve managed to eke out a few decent reservations. What’s most confusing to me is that I wasn’t able to get an early Garden Grill for 6 but it took 4. I then went in and tried to modify for 6 but ended up with 5. So m out for now with GG but that’s ok. I’m wondering if it’s because they have the kids listed as adults and the seats aren’t big enough for 6 adults? I tried to call but was on hold for over 1/2 an hour and the CM kept telling me nothing was open. It was an odd phone call though. There were many
moments of silence, prompting me to ask several times if she was still there. After a long period with no interaction I finally hung up.
