Am I missing anything?

So, last year we were there in August. I poured over the DIS with all of your recommendations of where to eat, what snack to get, etc. Well, I have to say I was so disappointed in myself, and I think it was because of the heat. I just wanted something to drink! So, I never got around to these items: School Bread; Kaki-Gori; Dole Whip; Goofy's make your own treats; MICKEY BAR! Is there anything else I am missing? We are going this year in November and I am thinking I will not be as thirsty as it will not be as hot!;)

Just my opinion - skip the school bread and get the Sweet Pretzel instead (both at Kringla). Also the Main Street Bakery for cinnamon rolls or the choose your own cookie ice cream sandwich.

Oh, in November, the glazed pecans and/or almonds that they sell in carts in Epcot and MGM are great. They smell wonderful! Hot cocoa is also good in November. I believe MGM sold a real hot cocoa, not just the hot chocolate, too, which was delicious on those chilly nights. Believe it or not, they do have chilly nights in Florida!

We usually head to the Main Street Bakery in the morning for the cinnamon rolls, but I'd love to hear more about those cookie ice cream sandwiches! Do you remember what cookies are offered? And is it just vanilla ice cream or are there other flavors as well? Thanks! :goodvibes

I tried the school bread for the first time on our trip this past November and it has been on my mind ever since! So delicious, fresh with a sweet frosting, coconut and a creamy custard filling...mmmmmm! A "don't miss" IMHO!!

We missed mickey bars our first three trips but on the fourth we all had a mickey bar just before leaving TL. In theory it is just vanilla ice cream with a chocolate coating but I must admit it tasted awesome! Maybe it was a combination of being really hungry after a long fun day in the water park and finally getting to try one but it did taste really good to all of us!:lovestruc

I can't believe I like these, but I do!!!! They are so good - the Nemo & Dory cookies!!! They are soft, plain cookies with fondant on them and they are soooooo tasty. You can get them at any of the 'candy' shops but I especially like Goofy's candy shop at DTD. You can also order your own hand-dipped pretzel rods with your choice of flavors/toppings.

And I thought Norway's bakery was way overrated (and I'm Norwegian! Ok, I'm American but my great-grandma did come over from Norway :goodvibes). I prefer France's bakery. Oh my, those pastries and desserts are divine. We get a bunch in the evening to take back for the next day for breakfast - or a late night snack!!

And the dole whips are great but you can also get floats there as well. Classic rootbeer or pineapple ice cream in pineapple juice. It will quench your thirst and cool you off if you are hot and just 'thirsty'.
