I am working on our upcoming trip. (my DH needs hip replacement, so doesnt move well!!)

This is what I have so far-

I rented him a ECV for the parks.
I am working on a handicap sticker so we don't have to worry about the trams or anything.
I arranged for a wheelchair for the airport.

Is there anything else I need to do? Or take with me?

If you have an extension cord (especially one with multiple outlets and a swustch to turn the power on and off) I would suggest bringing it. There are sometimes no real handy outlets in the room close enough to where you want to park the ECV for charging.

Also, if you haven't looked at it, check out the WDW transportation information in the disABILITIES FAQs thread. Sometimes WDW Transportation is going to be your best option to get places. This is especially true if you are staying on site and are going to MK.

Does your husband use a cane or crutch when he does walk? If so make sure you also get a cane or crutch holder for the ECV.
