Am I missing a thread for FL residents?

We will be moving in a couple months to the Orlando area. I was looking at the different AP options and since we will be retired and have the option of going when we want is there something I am missing when I read the description of the weekday pass?

It seems to be the only downfall is the blackout dates and of course special events held on a weekend. We would have to buy admission as well as special event tix.

You also will have to pay for parking each time ($15 a pop!). The only passes for FL residents that include parking are the annual and the premium.

Seasonal, week day, Epcot after 4 passes do not include parking and I think they all have some sort of black out dates (not 100% on the epcot after 4 passes on BOD).

Are there 2 or more of you? If so, one option is for just one to buy the annual pass and use it all the time for parking. Then, buy the other(s) a seasonal or weekday pass and go together only during the valid times for the more limited pass.

Do the math before you make a decision, but if $17 per day parking will add up to more than the difference, at least one AP is your best bet. If you find that you both want to go regularly during black out times, you can always upgrade the more limited pass.

Great thank you. I missed the parking part. That would add up way too fast. And the ability to park hop if we wanted to. I am glad I asked.
