Am I losing it? -- crazy dreams!

I had the most crazy dream last night that DF and i were going to get married on splash mountain.....literally.....and i got upset with my EM because the park was open and we had to wait in an hour line to get on the ride to get married. And we couldn't use the fast pass cause we were in wedding attire.

I think I am in Disney overload......

Has anyone else had crazy wedding-disney dreams? Or am i just losing it?

I cannot say that I have had any crazy dreams like that, but that's hysterical. That made me laugh aloud Splash Mtn is my favorite so that would be my "dream" spot to get married!! Thanks for sharing

I don't think you're losing it. One bride I knew kept dreaming about her dress not fitting and so she had to get married in her Catholic school uniform, and another kept dreaming that she had to get married on the beach in a ski suit because she brought the wrong suitcase. I haven't had any yet but my mom has been having them for me lol. One she had where everyone is at the ceremony waiting but I am not there because in all the excitement about getting everyone to the wedding they forgot me in NY! She's also had one where they remember me but we went to Disneyland and all the guests went to Disney World and my favorite is the one she had where they couldn't find me or DF but since she didn't want to disappoint all the guests they had my cats walk down the aisle and get married instead!

That makes me feel better and a little more sane! I swear it is like since planning this wedding all i can think about is Disney and Weddings and everything that goes with the two, and obviously now it is coming through in my sleep! lol......

When DF hears this he may put me in the crazy house, last night he said to me "you know when we met, I knew you liked Disney.......but in our time together I realized you are OBSESSED with Disney......"

He has only been 2 times and he is 26, i am 22 and I have been about 15 times.....lol......he has no idea what is in store for him for his future! lol.

I have some peculiar dreams on may a occasion. I suppose its the stress levels a bit like during pregnancy. My DF has been having some strange ones lately too.

Ha ha ha! It is totally normal. I cannot begin to tell you all the crazy dreams I had before our wedding! They got worse as the day got closer. Mine mostly involved running late. I remember one in particular that was recurring - me ironing daddy's shirt while I was all done up in my wedding gown, tiara, etc. I was hysterical looking for the spray starch Another was my MOH wearing the wrong color dress but I didn't notice it until I walked down the aisle and then I stopped the wedding to yell at her

In the end our wedding day was completely perfect. I think every bride has weird dreams. Just laugh about them and be glad those things will not actually happen!

The dream that sticks in my mind has to do with Disney and the "Left Behind" books.

I was reading those books as I was planning my wedding...and I had the "Disney Rapture" dream. All I remember was being in Disney getting ready for our wedding when the "rapture" happened. It was just too weird.

OOOhhhhh!!!! That is kinda freaky, not that the rapture is freaky, but the thought of it happening around your wedding is! lol.

Sorry...... I just gotta share this.......after reading the last post i texted my DF and said "what if the rapture happens before we get married?" and he texted me back and said "well i guess we lose our deposit"......lol.....

Don't worry hun your not going mad & you're certainly not alone in having weird Disney related dreams. I have them all the time, at least once a week i will have a dream which will in some obsure way will involve Disney. Other week i dreamt that it was our wedding day, we were at the Wedding Paviliion only to realise we hadn't actually booked anything. So we had no Rev, no photographer ...nothing. Just the two of us all kitted out. Weird!!!

Thing is we ve not even booked the wedding yet so i dread to think what my dreams will be like once we do. I wouldn't worry, i think most brides to be experience these kind of dreams, when something is on your mind that much its gonna pop in to your dream time. Enjoy them while you can as im sure once the wedding is all over they will stop.

I have had plenty of crazy wedding dreams haha!! In my last dream we were getting married and all of a sudden my cousin walks up and tells everyone that she is pregnant so it steals our thunder haha.

I haven't had any crazy Disney dreams, but like others, I have had some crazy wedding in general dreams!!

Like one night, I dreamed that it was 2hours before the wedding, and I didn't have our wedding slideshow together yet, so I was panicking and calling DF's mom to get some pictures and I was at HOME!!

I've had a few others as well, but I can't remember them!

After I stopped stressing out, the dreams stopped too!

That's so funny.
I had lots of strange dreams, but my main was not having any shoes to wear on the day and frantically shopping an hour before I got married!
My shoes were the last thing I had to get, and I just couldn't find a pair I liked, hence the reason I was having real nightmares' about them.
I also had a dream that my hair stylist didn't show and I had to just tie it up in a pony tail.
Don't worry it's just normal.

I had another dream last night!!!

I dreamed that my fiance and I didn't want to wait until April to get married so we pushed up the wedding to the next weekend! We got married in my grandfather's backyard and I think in my dream, I relied on everyone else to decorate. I got to the wedding site and NOTHING was decorated .... I was so upset in my dream!! Then at the rehearsal, we had white plastic tables without ANY decorations on them (no table covers or anything!!). And to make it worse, the only people at our reception were a few of my family members and one bridesmaid!! By the time we drove off, I was so fuming that I told my fiance that I wanted to do it again and do it right! I also got upset b/c I didn't get to throw the bouquet and I wanted to go back but there wasn't anyone there to throw it to!!!! Crazy crazy stuff!!
