........to think that we can accomplish all of this on our MK day? Here is the plan so far (after arriving before rope drop of course):

FP Buzz on the way to Space Mountain
Ride Space standby
See Stich
Ride Buzz with FP
Take red path to Toontown and catch Railroad to Frontierland
FP Splash
Ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad standby
(if time left before Splash FP, visit Tom Sawyers Island while waiting)
Ride Splash with FP
Ride Haunted Mansion
FP Peter Pan right before lunch
Lunch
Ride Peter Pan with FP
Ride Winnie the Pooh
Ride Tea Cups
Ride Snow White
FP Philharmagic before leaving for break
Break (will it be 2:00? Or will it be 8pm by now? :rotfl: )

After our break (about 2 hours), we'd like to return in the evening and see SOME of these:

Philharmagic with FP
Jungle Cruise
Swiss Treehouse
Tiki Room
Hall of Presidents
Carousel
Small World
Ariel
Astro Orbiter
Indy Speedway

**Note: No plans for Toontown (other than to catch the Railroad). I think my kids are old enough that it won't be a MUST see. Also, all of the evening plans (except Philharmagic and Jungle Cruise) are not MUST do's for us. If we can't get to them, it will be ok.

Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.

lol, you plan to much, relax and get a pop

:guilty: But everyone ELSE does it............... Pop, no thanks, but I will gladly take a break from planning and go shopping! :cool1: Maybe when I come back, I will have some helpful suggestions :confused3
I not sure this is the board to discuss TGM strategy
Thank you for pointing that out! :guilty: I edited mine to remove that line, but I can't edit yours...........can you take it out of yours now? Thanks!

She deleted it, but you just put it back in.

UGGGGGH!!! It's in yours too now!!!!!!! HELLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! CAn I just delete the whole thread and start again???????????????????????

Ok, it's fixed now. Sorry everyone (and Mike!!) :::::::begging for mercy::::::::

lol, back to the orignial question: It depends on when and what day you are going? It does sound ambitious but doable. You'll be running like crazy in the first half of the day to get all that done. One comment, I'd say Small World is a must do and Stitch is not. Also, you may have to FP Pooh, the lines on this ride can be lengthy.

You can probably accomplish it all in one day, but the question is, will it be fun? For my family, the answer is no. I'm a planner, but they'd stuff me in the nearest trash can within an hour if I dragged them around at that pace.

We did pretty much what you laid out on December 17. But if you're like us you'll want to ride Space Mtn. more than once. We got a FP for Space (instead of Buzz), then rode it standby. Then went to Buzz Lightyear and rode it several times with barely any wait (by the time we got through the maze, we just walked on), so we didn't need a fastpass for that. A fastpass might save you a couple minutes on Buzz and that's it. Get the space fp instead.
We left at 2:00 to go back to our resort after doing MOST of the stuff you plan to do in the morning. We did not do Teacups, Snow White, or Stitch. But we did the rest.
In the evening, we did Alladin, Treehouse, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates. I had planned, like you, to do all that other stuff, but my boys wanted to go back to their favorite - Splash Mtn. We did that 3 or 4 times in a row, then it was time for the parade. If you don't get to do all your evening rides, you really won't be missing that much. Yes, it would be nice to see them all, but we were getting tired and it wasn't worth waiting in line.

We've gone during slower times, but we've never needed a fastpass for Philharmagic. And, we've never done Pooh without a fastpass. I think I'd switch on the fastpasses there. And, do you want to see Jungle Cruise when it is light out? Not sure how late in the evening you are talking. And, we did Tiki last time, and while it was cute, it was definitely cheesy, and we won't ever do it again unless we are in great need of some inside sitting time and there is absolutely no wait time.

Take advantage of all the fast passes. You can get so much done when you are there for rope drop. I think you can accomplish this, just have the attitude that if you don't it's ok. Good luck!

I think this is really good advice, based on our experiences with those rides.

have fun!

You obviously know your kids -- but I think with a 6yo DD she is going to want to see some of Toontown -- the characters, Minnie's house and Barnstormer come to mind. That said -- when we were there the last time we did get most of your list accomplished in one day --- but it was an EMH morning (and I had a spreadsheet directing us from ride to ride -- yeah I know, don't say it!).

Thanks for all of the great tips everyone! I've taken Stitch out of the morning itinerary and just looking at it as a "if we have time, we will, if not, no biggie" thing. Here is the revised schedule (changed the FP from Philharmagic to Winnie the Pooh, too):

FP Space Mountain
Ride Space Mountain standby
Ride Buzz standby
Ride Space again if FP is up yet
Take red path to Toontown and RR to frontierland
FP Splash
Ride BTMR standby
Do Tom Sawyers Island while waiting for Splash FP
Ride Splash w/ FP
Haunted Mansion
FP Peter Pan
lunch
Ride Peter Pan w/ FP
FP Winnie the Pooh
Ride tea cups, snow white
See Philharmagic
Ride Winnie The Pooh with FP
break

Evening:

Jungle Cruise
Small World
Indy Speedway
Astro Orbiter
Explore Toontown

I took out Stitch, Swiss Treehouse, Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents, and Carousel.

We do have another evening planned at MK the evening before this full day, so we can try to fit some things in there to free up this day some.

you could also get some of the night time things done during the day and fastpass btmr...i would grab a fastpass to splash or btmr and ride it when you get back at night...really cool

I really think it depends on the day you're there. In sept my ex and I did all of this and more.. some things more than once.. at a leisurely pace. Then again... we weren't with kids so there were very few times we'd stand in line for characters, wait way ahead for parades, etc...since it was just 2 adults. I'm not sure how may crowds are either.. in sept it was almost empty... so yes.. VERY possible.. depending on a few factors.

I've gotta ask.. what's TGM?

Does Toon Town still open later than the rest of MK? What if Toon Town isn't open will the path be open? Will the train stop?

Will your kids want to stop and great any characters? One way to get a jump on things is to get an early seating at Crystal Palace. If you can get an 8:10 you should be done just around 9:00 and then you are already past the characters that great right at opening.

I think the time you are going shouldn't be too crowded but I'm going for my first May trip so I'm not speaking from first hand experience.

Have a great trip!

TGM is Tour Guide Mike. It is a planning website. See banner above. He gives very specific times to do certain things, but asks that they not be shared here. I think that the OP shared accidentally.

To the OP I'm glad you decided that Pooh is a must for FP. And, our kids liked Stitch, so don't pass that up because people here might not like it. Definitely at least leave that one on your list to do. That is another one that we didn't have to wait long for. Again, going when it was slow.
