Am I going to regret an early Splash FP and be soaked first thing?

I have a 9-10am Splash FP and second guessing now wondering if I’m going to spend the morning soaked, and then end up cold. We are going the first week of Nov and I’ve heard sometimes you might need a jacket in the morning. Thoughts?

I would not do it. It may be cold or at the very least, you may be uncomfortable walking around in wet clothes. Also, you probably don’t need to waste a fast pass on Splash early in the morning in November. Splash Mountain has definitely been walk on in December.

I am in the same situation...ugh. My DD is finally brave enough to ride it on our trip next week. My H hates being wet, so I told her I would ride with her. I’m not excited, lol. If I wear a poncho (or maybe 2!) and a hat will I stay fairly dry? I also plan to have flip flops in the backpack to wear.

We were there Nov. 3-8th last year. CMs told us it was unseasonably warm, with highs in the 80's every day. Even so, we started the mornings in sweatshirts with our shorts.

Ponchos usually have a hood for your head. I wouldn`t wear a hat, it`ll fly off during the drop.

Yes, you stay pretty dry wearing a poncho on this ride.

We went in September and did SM about 9:15. I wore a throwaway poncho! No shame! Pro Tip, put it on before you get in the log, or your backside will still get wet!!

This! We rode last week and came off bone dry. I actually use two of the really cheap ponchos, the ones that are the size of half a pack of cards. I put on on the seat before I sit down and hold the other over my lap. When Im in areas where there is spray or splash I hold it up. Also ask for the back row to stay even drier.

We typically start our day with RD to BTMRR then Splash Mountain. I don't ever recall getting super wet. We are going in November this year and plan on doing the same plan. I suppose it's possible to get soaked and be cold, but then it would become another one of those "remember when...." stories that we are collecting from our WDW trips.

Another vote for the disposable poncho here-I take a couple for everybody in my park bag anyway. That is, if you can't move the fast pass for later, or moving it interferes with your ability to get more fast passes after the initial three. I don't like having fast passes too late in the MK because fourth, fifth and so on fast passes are easier to get in that park if needed.

Just see what the weather is that day and if it's colder request the back rows. I've never gotten "soaked" in the back rows. A really strong mist to the face and upper body but nothing that doesn't dry our really quickly as long as it's not unseasonably cold.

Go for it. Splash might get you soaked, but probably not. Wear a poncho and you should be fine. Maybe I'm wrong and you'll get completely soaked, but what is life without a little adventure?

We intend to RD it late November. We've never been soaked. POTC gets us more than Splash does.
