Am I figuring this right?

My sister is considering going with us in June. We have already booked ASMo but adding her would make us a party of 5. I just looked and it seems like I can get two rooms at ASMo for less than a family suite at ASMu. Is this correct? We are doing 8 day hoppers with dining. Also, would two rooms at ASMo be the cheapest we would be able to get for a party of 5 (excluding me spending 7 nights in a tent with my sister AND my stepkids)?

Port Orleans Riverside allows 5 in a room, in the Alligator Bayou section only. That may be the least expensive option, although 2 rooms obviously give you and your sister some elbow room. Also many deluxes allow 5 and the Ft. Wilderness Cabin allows 6 and has a separate bedroom and living area.

You are correct, the suites are slightly more then 2 standard value rooms. One benefit is the fridge is included as well as the guarantee you are together.

As the OP stated going with POR will save you about $50 a night (with tax) but limit you to 1 bathroom.

The savings may not even be that much .... will that make 3 adults in the room ? you'd have to figure in the extra charge for that. And my understanding from reading other discussions on POR is that the room really is a standard sized room...not extra big since you can put an extra person. So you are crammed in there. Just another thought about 'elbow room'.
