So, I am very lucky to have a friend whose husband made an awesome t-shirt design for me. I absolutely love it! We bought iron on transfer paper and made my shirts....and this is where the problem is.
The transfer seems so stiff...when I tried on my shirt, the design was so stiff that it looked odd. The material kind of bunched up a bit around the transfer...and it was just extremely obvious that it was an iron on transfer...and didn't look very good.
I just need to know...is this just the way it is? Is there a way to get a more "natural" iron on design? If I go to my local tshirt shop, if I have them iron on the design, is their equipment better so that the shirts will turn out better and less stiff?
Sorry for all the stupid questions....at this point, I just want to know if I am expecting too much....or how to get the best results. I read that screen printing is best, but for only 4 shirts I don't even know that that is an option!
Any help or advice is appreciated! Thank you!
