I'm really itching to get back to Disney World. I have some time off of work in February and was really thinking about using it to take a trip.

My son would be 16 months at the time of trip and I was thinking of just going ahead and doing the trip, just him & I. No one else can really take time off of work or school. Would I be crazy in doing this? :confused3

What would you do?

Kidding. But, I'd totally do it. It would be fun. Just go at your own pace. I would do it in a heartbeat.

You're more then welcome to come! :thumbsup2

But, thanks! I think I was just worried that he'd be too young to enjoy the characters and rides.

We are going next week and DD wil turn 18 mths while we are there! Some of our family thinks it is a little nuts because she is so young and won't remeber but we just want to go somewhere fun and safe with our DD before we start having other kids and it'll be wonderful memories for DH and I! Not sure if I would do it on my own, without DH since she is really a handful and to be honest, I go a little batty when it is just the two of us for a whole weekend...I love her to death but I need my own space. Would a grandparent or friend want to come with you? Whatever you decide, have fun!

Yall are going to have so much fun! Definately let me know how she enjoyed all the characters, parades, rides - everything! :)

My best friend & her daughter were thinking about going with us. It's just a matter of her getting time off of work. So, we'll see!

We are taking my DD in November for her 1st trip. She will be 16 months old. She can already recognize Mickey and Minnie(yes, I am so proud!). We are taking the laid back approach, she might not remember anything but she will probably have a great time while she's there. We usually go every year, so she'll remeber another trip. My DS was 2 1/2 his first trip and it was great!

Have fun! :woohoo:

It seems like the laid back approach is definately the way to go!
