I am trying to plan out our next Disney trip .....we went the 20-27 of Sept. of 2006 which was my DH, me, and our DD who was 4. We had an awesome time, we are expecting our next baby in the end of August 2007. I am wondering if we should try to go in the spring....which would kinda be pushing our vacation budget. I would really like to go in the fall after the baby is born (about 6 weeks old) but my DH thinks I am nuts for even considering it.

Any opinions, advice, or experiences would be wonderful!!! THANKS

The youngest I have taken a baby was 4 months old. And that was at DL. I don't know that I personally would go with a 6 week old. That sure would be a lot of work. Not to mention still trying to readjust with a newborn. I think I would save my $ and go NEXT spring

I would wait too- who knows how you will be feeling? They say a six week recovery period for a reason! Better to put it off a little bit. What if the baby is late, or you have an emergency c-section, or something else? That happened to me, on my third child, emergency c-section, and we had to cancel a trip that we had been planning for a while. Is there a huge need to go back then?

It is doable, but the timing could be a little crazy with a 6 week old. Could you put if off to say the beginning of December? Baby would be 2-3 months, low crowds and beautiful Christmas decorations.

I thank you all for your honest advice I think that we will be waiting until at least the end of November or Early December to go.
