Am I crazy???? We are leaving in 17 days and I started getting clothes ready today!!

We leave in 17 days and this afternoon I started writing my lists and getting the kids clothes together. I bought them all new Disney clothes so it's not like they will need them before the trip. I didn't pull out the suitcases yet but I almost did. Anyway, hubby thinks I am crazy but I am hoping my fellow disers can relate and appreciate my excitement!!

When do you start getting ready??

Nope - your not crazy. Life is so busy that if you don't start organizing now you will find yourself days or a day before your trip busy and overwhelmed. I'd rather start to think about it ahead of time and be ready.

I leave in about 113 days and I already have a bag that I throw items I buy in there (like toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, etc.). As I buy it, it goes in a bag. DH also just showed me an envelope that had the military Disney $99 tickets, 2 Universal Studio Military Tickets, his Sea World printout of eligibility for the 4 free tickets. I also just placed a gift card from Disney Visa in there.

Just think if you didn't think of all these little things till right before you go- you'd be running around trying to find everything and starting to stress.

I am going in 29 days and I have put a few things aside but I feel like I have so much shopping to do. I bought a few things for my 2 boys and my DH is pretty much done with his clothes but I need a whole new set of summer clothes including a bathing suit! Not looking forward to shopping for that one but I am looking forward to shopping for clothes.

Enjoy getting ready. Planning is half the fun of the trip.

I started packing 30 days out for this trip. as of tuesday all I have left is the last minute stuff.

You're not crazy. It's never too early to start.

I usually start packing things 2 months before. We're not leaving until September and I already have all the toiletries. We have our list of things to pack and already bought new shorts and tank tops.

We start 90 days out, that's about as long as I can hold everyone off!!!

We leave in 54 days and I could fill the suitcase in 15 minutes. Most of my clothing is stacked in the closet, ready to go.

We leave in 17 days also and I have had the suitcases out and open in the spare room for 3 weeks now and have been filling them ever since! The whole room is dedicated to the holiday and has clothes hanging all around it

Its my first trip and Im sooooo excited! I dont want to forget anything and have been getting loads of helpful tips of here for things I will def need - DP swore he did not need a rain mac, but I got him one anyway, he will thank me when Florida has one of its famous rainfalls

I'm 12 days out and we're mostly packed. All that's left is for me to throw our undies in the suitcase and we're set - wait I've even packed undies already for the kids as we buy new ones for vacations so all that's left are ours. My husband packs his own suitcase and even he started packing this past weekend and exclaimed "I'm so excited about our trip". I of course simply smiled but inside I was like " I KNOW, SO AM I" - but I played it cool.

We've all got new clothes and but my husband took out all of his trunks and has decided that the 5lbs he's packed on over the winter ='s new trunks for him. THANK YOU GOD! I couldn't stand one pair in particular.

We go to WDW every year so I buy things all year long. I have a WDW box in the closet and every time I buy something for the trip, it goes in the box. I buy clothes off season so when the Disney Outlet had graphic tees for $5.00 and under, I stocked up. I'll probably get our suitcases out two weeks before we leave but I won't actually start putting stuff in them until about a week out.

I am 26 days out and I asked my mom to borrow a suitcase so I can start packing this weakend. My MIL is laughing at me bc I'm very unorganized, but I am just to excited I have to do something!!

OMG..I'm LATE!! In 8 more sleeps we will be on our way..still nothing packed..well I have a huge mess in my bedroom and suitcases are present but thats it..

I always have a "Trip Box" going months before our vacations. However, when we moved our trip up from December to May due to the 4/3 deal and work conflicts, it really put a crunch on my planning time!

I have a ton of work (for school/work) to do between now and when we leave but it seems I cannot concentrate on anything but DISNEY!

Last Saturday I spent 1/2 the day downloading Disney songs for me and all my kids for our mp3 players. We now have "Yo ho, Pirates of the Caribbean", "grim grinning ghosts" and many many more Disney theme songs to listen to for our trip! On the way home from work today I listened to Be Our Guest!!!

So to answer your question, are you crazy for being excited and preping for your trip? NoWAY! unless we all are!!!!

We don't go until Thanksgiving and I have already started putting things aside in a box, like a new jacket I plan to wear there, a couple of new tops, etc. (well it helps that I sell clothes for a living, but still.) I ordered my little girl a new pair of shoes for our trip just today. So, I am TOTALLY crazy, as I am six months out! I keep thinking "I only have SIX MONTHS to get ready!"

I leave in 13 days and I am pretty much done packing!!!

I only have to pack the things I'm still using (brush, comb, etc.).
The bags are already by the door.

My family thinks I am totally nuts.

Thank God for the boards.....a place where I can feel "normal"!!
